How To make Coconut Delight Cake
1 Pillsbury Butter Recipe
-Cake Mix 1 lg Carton Cool Whip
8 oz Carton sour cream
1/2 c Sugar
1 cn Angel Flake coconut
Bake cake according to directions. Cool. Combine cool whip, sour cream, sugar and coconut. Cut the cake to make 4 layers and spread mixture between each layer. Then cover top and sides with remaining mixture. If you like a lot of cool whip, you may add another carton to help frost the top and sides. Garnish if you wish with cherries and nuts. This is a good recipe to experiment with by adding different things to the cool whip. For instance, well drained crushed pineapple, cherries and nuts.

INGREDIENTS

*Maida-1 cup
*Baking powder-1 1/2 tsp
*Eggs-4 nos.(separated)
*Sugar(powdered)-1 cup+1tbsp
*Dessicated coconut-1/2 cup+1/2cup+1tbsp+(for topping)
*Vanilla essence-1 tsp
*Oil-3/4 cup+1/2 tbsp
*Sugar-1/2 cup
*Water-1 cup+1/2 tbsp
*Whipping cream-2 cups
METHOD
--------------
*Sift maida and baking powder thrice.add dessicated coconut and keep it aside.
*Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and add sugar and blend.keep it aside.
*Whisk egg yolks essence and oil.add in the dry ingredients.
*Add the thick batter to the egg whites.Whisk slowly and combine well.
*Transfer batter to a 8inch cake tin..tap well to get rid off air bubbles.
*Preheat a vessel with lid for 10 minutes on medium flame.
*Place the cake tin inside vessel and bake for 20-25 minutes on low flame or until cake is done.
*Only demould cake after it is completely cooled.
*Whip cream with1 tbsp of dessicated coconut in it.
*Cut cake into 3 layers
*prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water.
*For the filling,mix dessicated coconut,powdered sugar,oil and water and keep it aside.
Now assemble cake layers with sugar syrup ,cream and filling.
*Chill the cake before serving...
*Tadaaaaa...........COCONUT DELIGHT CAKE is ready to be served...????????

Basbousa sweet Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 tsp baking powdered
1 cup Semolina OR 1/2 cup Semolina + 1/2 cup flour (If you like the Basbousa as a cake texture)

Moist and Delicious Coconut Cake | Easy No Flour No Butter Coconut Dessert
i n g r e d i e n t s :
• 3 large eggs
• 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (33%fat)
• 2 1/2 cups (250 g) unsweetened (finely) shredded coconut (dry)
• A pinch of salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
Bake the cake at 350ºF/180ºC for 30-35 min.
I used a 9/23 cm square baking pan.
* The baking time and temperature are only a guide. As every oven is different, you may need to make adjustments to get the right result.

1 cup = 240 ml
1 tbsp = 15 ml
1 tsp = 5 ml
