Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Pie
I came up with the softest OREO cookies and cream CAKE recipe you will ever have
RECIPE:
SHOP:
If you’re a cookies and cream lover, then you are going to literally fall in love with this incredibly soft Oreo cake! This recipe consists of soft vanilla and Oreo cake layers, topped with a super smooth Oreo buttercream frosting – YUM!
INGREDIENTS:
Oreo Cake
- 14 Oreos - roughly chopped
- 2⅓ cups (300 g) flour - regular all purpose (see note 1 on blog post if you want to use cake flour)
- ¼ cup (25 g) cornflour - also known as cornstarch
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt - omit if using salted butter
- ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter - room temperature
- ½ cup (105 g) unflavoured vegetable oil - I use canola
- 1⅔ cups (332 g) white granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs - room temperature
- 1¼ tbsp vanilla essence/extract
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1½ cups (337 g) buttermilk - room temperature, see note 5 on blog post if using a homemade buttermilk substitute
Oreo Buttercream Frosting
- 14 Oreos - blended to fine crumbs
- 1½ cups (340 g) unsalted butter - room temperature
- 2¾ cups (350 g) icing sugar - also known as powdered sugar/confectioners sugar
- 1½ tsp vanilla essence/extract
- 1½ tbsp milk - heavy or whipping cream okay too
Extra for Decorating (optional)
- 3 Oreos (recommended) - to go it between the cake layers to add extra crunch/texture
- 4 Oreos (optional) - to decorate the sides of the cake (blended into fine crumbs)
- 10-12 Oreos (optional) - to put on the top of the cake
Bake at 160 °C (320°F) with the fan on for 33 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. If your oven doesn't have a fan option, then you will need to increase the baking temperature to 175°C (347°F).

Oreo Ice Cream Pie
So delicious! A perfectly creamy dessert!
This recipe truly is simple. Just a handful of store bought ingredients and 20 minutes (if that!) to assemble. And it tastes so good! You could make it for a crowd or just your family. The nice part is that you keep it in the freezer, so your family could eat on it for the whole week!
What you need:
20 oreos
2 tbsp melted butter
1 ¼ cup fudge topping
½ gallon oreo ice cream
8 oz whipped topping

Cookies and Cream Pie
This is the best selling pie at the diner I work at. This is pretty much exactly as I make it for them. Without ice cream!
What you'll need:
1 cup half and half
1 (3.4oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding
12-15 Oreo cookies
1 (8oz) container whipped topping (Cool-Whip)
chocolate cookie crust - I make my own as can be seen here:
whipped cream or additional whipped topping for the top
Mix the half and half with the vanilla pudding until thickened. Add in crushed Oreo cookies. Mix to cover the cookies with pudding mixture. Stir in whipped topping until fully mixed. Pour into a pre-baked chocolate cookie crust. Freeze for 1 hour to set up the pie. Decorate the top as you wish and refrigerate. Enjoy!
No Bake Oreo Pie is Dreamy Creaminess
My Oreo pie is so creamy and light without any Cool Whip or gelatin! It's a simple, no-bake recipe that can be prepped in just 15 minutes.
Recipe:
Ingredients
For Crust
25 Oreo cookies
4 Tablespoons butter, melted (salted or unsalted is fine) (55g)
For Filling
1 ½ cups heavy cream, cold (354ml)
1 cup powdered sugar, divided (125g)
16 oz cream cheese, softened (see note)
¼ cup sour cream (56g)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
15 Oreo cookies, broken into pieces (see note)

Instructions
00:00 Introduction
For Crust
00:23 Place cookies in the basin of a food processor and pulse in 1-second intervals until you have fine crumbs.
00:59 Pour crumbs into a large mixing bowl and pour melted butter overtop. Use a spoon or spatula to mix together cookie crumbs and butter until all crumbs have been coated.
01:48 Pour into a 9.5” pie plate and press firmly into the bottom and up the sides. Place pie crust in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
For Filling
02:18 Pour heavy cream into a large mixing bowl and add about ½ cup (62g) powdered sugar.
02:52 Use an electric mixer to beat until you have stiff, fluffy peaks. Set aside.
03:47 In a separate large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, remaining powdered sugar (about 63g), sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-combined.
05:12 Add whipped cream to cream cheese mixture and use a spatula to gently fold together until mixture is uniform.
05:37 Add broken Oreo pieces and gently fold together until well distributed. Pour filling into prepared pie crust, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight) and up to 4 days before enjoying (pie may also be frozen). If desired, top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
Pie Crust
You may use a smaller pie plate but note that you may have to discard some filling. This will be too much filling for most store-bought crusts.
Cream Cheese
Use full-fat (not low-fat) cream cheese, preferably the kind sold in brick-shape. Do not use “spreadable” cream cheese that is sold in tubs.
Oreo Cookies
If you want your pie to be clean white (instead of muddied with fine crumbs) break your cookies into a fine mesh sieve and shake out the small crumbs into the trash before adding the cookies to your pie.
