How To make Crocked Pineapple Chicken
6 whole chicken breast halves without skin
skinned and
split 1 dash pepper
paprika to taste 20 ounces pineapple chunks in juice :
1 can tidbits
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic -- minced
1. Arrange chicken in bottom of crockpot.
2. Sprinkle with pepper and paprika.
3. In a small bowl, combine drained pineapple tidbits, mustard and soy sauce.
4. Pour over chicken. Add minced garlic.
5. Cover and cook on LOW 7-9 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours. Makes 6 serving.
Note: The recipe I downloaded didn't specify the amount of soy sauce. I just guessed and used the above measure. Seemed fine to me, but might change the sodium count.

Crock Pot Hawaiian Chicken - Slow Cooker Chicken Recipe
This scrumptious crock pot pineapple chicken sandwich is so yummy!
2-4 chicken breasts
1 1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional:
2 tablespoon water
2 tablespoon cornstarch
Mix pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper
in crock pot. Place chicken into mixture and cover chicken with sauce. Cover and cook on low
for 6 hours. After cooked, shred chicken. If you would like sauce thickened, add a slurry of
2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons of corn starch in crock pot. Heat until thickened. Serve
on bun and enjoy.

The crock pot challenge continues! This week we are doing a few new meals, and also doing a repeat of the Pork Carnitas! Today's meal are the Pineapple Chicken tacos - the recipe calls for making burritos, but we decided to alter it just a bit since we had taco sized tortillas on hand.

New crock-pot recipe!!! January 13, 2015 Weight loss journey
Crock-pot Pineapple chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2-3 chicken breast
1 onion
1 can of pineapple chunks (in juice not syrup)
2tsp of soy sauce (i used lite soy sauce)
1/2 cup of chicken broth
Cut a whole onion and place it in the bottom of the crock pot. Then lay 2-3 chicken breast on top of onion. Pour 1 can of pineapple and its juice in the crock pot. Then add 2tbsp of soy sauce and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours.
I used 2 chicken breast and made it 3 servings and it came out to be 356 calories for this dish. I added brown rice and asian stir fry for a total of 654 calories.
