Brunswick stew is a southern dish that have been around for many years, and loved my everyone that have eaten it, it is made mostly during July 4, for one of the main dishes at barbecues. Brunswick Stew -- Lynn's Recipes
Lynn demonstrates how to make a delicious, simple Brunswick Stew. This is great as a main dish or to use as a side dish for barbeque chicken, pulled pork, or any other type of barbeque. This makes a lot, so it is also a great stew to freeze in individual containers and use as needed for a quick lunch or dinner.
4 pounds pork tenderloin
4 chicken breasts
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
2 cups chicken broth
3 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
1 cup barbeque sauce
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons white vinegar
1 onion, chopped
3 Tablespoons sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Hot Sauce, optional
Cook the pork and chicken in a pressure cooker or cover with water in a large stockpot, bring to a boil and simmer until done and can be shredded with a fork.
Chop or shred the pork and chicken very fine -- or process in food processor and place in a large stockpot or large crock pot.
Add all of the remainder of the ingredients. If cooking on the stove, bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and continue cooking for 2 hours. If using the crock pot, place all ingredients in the crock pot and cook for about 4-6 hours until everything is hot and the flavors are all incorporated with one another. You can add hot sauce if you desire for additional heat.
Serve or place in freezer for future meals.

Fall Crock Pot Meal | I made a lazy Brunswick stew and deep conditioned our hair | Fall Series 2022
Hey virtual fam! Today was hair wash day and I needed a lazy meal to make for my family so I decided to make a Crock Pot Brunswick stew. I haven’t perfected my recipe yet, but it’s delicious nonetheless. Recipe below!
INGREDIENTS:
3 lb bag of boneless skinless chicken breasts
28 oz Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey Barbecue Sauce
10.75 oz can of Campbell’s Condensed Tomato Soup
14.5 oz can of Swanson Chicken Broth
(3) 14.5 oz cans of mixed vegetables
3 potatoes (if not added in can of mixed vegetables)
3 or 4 caps full of apple cider vinegar
Sugar to taste
Minced onion
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Season chicken. Place chicken, barbecue sauce, tomato soup, chicken broth, and minced onion in the Crock Pot. Turn Crock Pot on high and let cook until chicken is tender enough to shred. (You can actually dice and add the potatoes now or later when you add the rest of the veggies.)
2. Once the chicken is tender enough, shred and add the mixed vegetables, apple cider vinegar, and sugar.
3. Let cook until everything is well marinated. (I usually cook it for about 9 hours from start to finish although you don’t have to cook it that long.)
