How To make Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce

tomato puree, can

tomato paste, can

teaspoon
oregano

pound
sausage (italian links or country style)
Directions:
Brown ground beef in 2 tablespoon hot oil in frying pan. When almost browned, add onion and continue browning until onion is tender. Pour meat and onion into 3 1/2 quart crockpot. Add puree, sauce, paste, water, salt, pepper and oregano and set dial on low setting. Cut 2 lbs. sausage into pieces and brown in remaining 2 tablespoons oil. When brown, place sausages in sauce in crockpot. Continue cooking for 12 hours. (If you like your sauce sweeter, you could add 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar to this.)

Crockpot spaghetti
Ingredients:
16 oz Spaghetti noodles
2 LBS Ground Beef
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP Pepper
1 TSP Italian Seasoning
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Minced Garlic
1 can Diced Tomatoes
2 24oz pasta Jars or 48 oz of pasta sauce
3/4 Onion Diced
1 cup Cheddar cheese (optional)
1 Cup chicken broth
Directions:
Start by browning Ground beef and season with salt,pepper,Italian seasoning
When ground beef is 3/4 cooked add. In onions and mix well cook until done
Add minced garlic cook until fragrant for 4-5 mins
Strain and sit aside
Add the Following to your crockpot:
Pasta sauce
Diced Tomatoes
Ground beef
Cheddar cheese (optional)
Mix well
Cover and cook on High for 2 hrs
After 2 hours mix sauce
Add 1/2 cup chicken broth and 1/2 of your noodles broke in Half
Mix noodles into sauce gently
And remaining spaghetti noodles and chicken broth mix into pasta gently
Cover for additional 30 minutes on high
After 30 minutes mix well
Serve and Enjoy!

SLOW COOKER BOLOGNESE SAUCE
Ingredients
* 1 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef
* Two 796 ml cans of crushed tomatoes I use low sodium
* 1 large onion finely chopped
* 2 stalks celery finely chopped
* 2 medium carrots finely chopped
* 5 cloves of garlic minced
* 3/4 tsp dried parsley
* 3/4 tsp dried basil
* 3/4 tsp oregano
* a pinch of nutmeg
* 1/2 cup red wine
* a generous pinch each of sea salt and black pepper
* fresh parsley for garnish optional
Instructions
* Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat just until completely cooked through. Set aside.
* Add the tomatoes, the beef, and all the other ingredients to your slow cooker.
* Use a wooden spoon to break up the meat and to stir the sauce until it's mixed thoroughly.
* Cover the pot of your slow cooker with the lid and cook the sauce on high for 3 hours or on low for 6-7 hours, stirring well every 2 hours or so.
* This sauce is best served over some fresh, hot pasta and topped with a little bit of Parmesan cheese!

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
28 oz. diced tomatoes (two 14 oz. cans) do not drain
6 oz. can tomato paste
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
½ cup diced white onion
2 garlic cloves minced
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
pinch red pepper flakes
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
6-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large skillet set to medium high heat, add the ground beef. Brown and crumble with a spatula or wooden spoon. Drain the fat.
Add the meat to the slow cooker. Add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Stir.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours. Do no open the lid during the cooking time.
Serve with desired cooked noodles and top with parmesan cheese.
