Falafel Burger Recipe - Falafel Burgers With Tahini Sauce - Garbanzo Beans/Chickpeas
If you love Falafel, this Falafel Burger Recipe is for you. I served my Falafel Burger with a simple Tahini Sauce, onions, cucumbers and tomatoes. This is a vegetarian recipe that even meat lovers will love.
You can make these Falafel Burgers to be eaten right away or frozen for later.
Falafel Burger Ingredients:
* 15 Oz. Can Chickpeas/garbanzo beans
* 1 Onion Diced (I used red onion)
* 2 Cloves minced garlic
* 1/2 bunch parsley chopped
* 1/2 bunch cilantro chopped
* 1 Tsp. Cumin
* 1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper
* 1 1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper (to taste)
* 1 1/2 Tsp. Salt
* Juice of 1/2 lemon
* 1/4 Cup Garbanzo flour (any flour should work)
* 2 Tbsp Tahini
Recipe For My Tahini Sauce:
* 1/3 Cup Tahini
* 1 Clove Garlic minced
* Juice of 1/2 lemon
* 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
* Pinch of Cumin
* Pinch of cayenne pepper
* 1/2 Tbsp Cilantro chopped
* 1/2 Tbsp Parsley chopped
* 3 Tbsp Warm Water (or as needed to get consistency desired)

Here I am sharing with you this simple and quick recipe with a delicious and nourishing result. The fresh parsley is a must for color and aroma as well. Also, the flour is necessary for the patties to bind and not to fall apart.
Baked Chickpea Patties Recipe
Ingredients (3 - 4 servings):
- 270 g (1 can) rinsed and drained prepared chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 100 g onion
- 10 g garlic cloves
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) vegetable oil
- 20 g fresh parsley
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) freshly squeezed lemon juice (~1/2 small lemon)
- 2 g (1/2 tsp.) baking soda
- 30 g (3 tbsp.) oat flour*
- sea salt
- ground black pepper

Falafel recipe | Easy, delicious & healthy chickpea patties | No deep fry | Diet & weightloss recipe
Today I made a very simple, delicious & healthy Falafel recipe. Falafel is the popular middle eastern fast food. But today I skipped the deep frying part to make it healthy. This pan fried method is great for dieting and fasting people as it use very minimal oil, good source of protein & fibre. It can be served with your favorite salad bowl, burgers, wraps and eat as a snack with tahini sauce or hummus.

Step by step process:
1. Soak 1 cup CHICKPEAS/CHANA- 8 hours (or overnight).
2. In a mixer/blender add the soaked chickpeas, ONION- half roughly chopped, GARLIC- 4 or 5, PARSELY, CORIANDER LEAVES (can use any available herbs), ground CAYENNE PEPPER- 1 tsp, CORIANDER POWDER- 1 tsp, CUMIN POWDER- 1 tsp, CHILLI POWDER- 1 tsp, crushed PEPPER & generous amount of LEMON JUICE.
3. Grind it into coarse paste.
4. In a mixing bowl add the grinded mixture, PLAIN FLOUR/MAIDA- 2 tbsp, a pinch of BAKING SODA(optional), SALT and mix well.
5. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
6. Scoop out uniform size balls and make patties.
7. Heat OIL in a pan, arrange the patties and cook both sides until golden brown.
8. Serve with salad leaves & your favorite sauce.
