Best Ever Brownies
These are the best ever chocolate brownies with a buttery-salty edge! I'm famous for these and you can be too!
Here is the recipe and list of the ingredients and specific brands that I used so that you can replicate the Best Ever Brownie's in the video:
Ingredients: Preheat oven to 350
Melt together in a saucepan on the LOWEST setting:
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, 100 % dark chocolate, or 85%
1/2 cup unsalted European butter( Plugra brand was used int he video)
Watch carefully so it doesn't burn!
When melted remove from heat.
In a separate large bowl whisk together until combined really well:
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups white sugar ( if using 100 % dark chocolate), If using 85 % dark chocolate, use only 1 cup white sugar
2/3 cup all purpose flour (Gold Medal brand unbleached)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Now whisk in the melted chocolate and butter combination.
Then lastly, stir in the chocolate chips:
1/2 cup chocolate chips, Ghirardelli 60% chocolate
optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts, anything you like.
Line 8x8 metal pan with parchment paper, then grease heavily with salted butter at room temperature so that it smooths out easily on the bottom and up the sides of the pan. I like a thick layer!
Pour the batter into the pan, smooth out to the sides, and bake in 350 oven for 27 minutes.
Let cool in pan 15 minutes, then lift out the brownies holding the parchment paper and lifting out the brownies. Set aside to finish cooling on a rack.
Dust the tops when cool with confectioners sugar, using a little sifter. Cut into squares...ENJOY!
They're so good when they are still warm.

No other cookie or treat beats Chocolate Chip Cookies. They're gooey on the inside but crunchy on the outside, pretty irresistible if you ask me!
Honeysuckle’s Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe (makes 8):
Melt and carefully brown 8 tbsp high-quality butter, I used Kerrygold brand
In a large bowl mix:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt (kosher)
1/2 tsp baking soda
Then once it’s a ribbon-like consistency, add:
1 1/3 cups AP flour
1 cup large chocolate chips
Mix well, scoop into round dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with finishing salt if desired. Chill 10 minutes if you’d like and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350º F.
Cool and serve

unsalted butter: 114g
white sugar: 100g
brown sugar: 110g
an egg (50g)
1tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
flour: 160g
chocolate chips: 175g
also for the oven: 170-180 degrees Celsius
edit: I made them with those measurements today and they turned out amazing, they're really delicious! I put them at 180degrees celsius for 11 minutes it was enough!

Guittard is another premium US chocolatier and their 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate has the perfect brownie recipe included. These intensely rich brownies get a short stint in the fridge to completely set up after they’re baked and cooled. Don’t skip this step; it’s what gives them their perfectly fudgy texture. And don’t skimp on the chocolate. Cheap chocolate won’t give you the same results, so splurge!
Guittard’s Chocolate Fudge Brownies
6 ounces, 170g, Guittard 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate bars
1 cup + 2 tablespoons, 256g, butter, salted
4 large eggs, 200g
1½ cups, 514g, white granulated sugar
2 teaspoons, 10ml, vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon kosher salt
1¾ cups, 255g, all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350°F, 180°C, gas mark 4. Spray an 8x11 inch (20x28cm) or 9x9 (23x23cm) glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray then line with a parchment paper sling. Spray muffin wells or line with paper liners if making muffins. In a small microwave safe bowl, cut butter into cubes and break chocolate into pieces on top. Melt butter and chocolate either in the microwave in 30 second increments or on the stovetop in a double boiler. Allow to cool slightly if the melted mixture is hot. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt and beat with an electric mixer until the sugar has mostly dissolved and mixture is a light, lemon color. Add in the chocolate and mix on medium until completely combined. Add in the flour, half at a time, and mix on low until just barely combined. It’s ok if you can still see a bit of flour. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Bake 8x11 inch pan for 40-45 minutes, 9x9 inch pan for 45-50 minutes or muffins for 20-25 minutes. Do not overbake brownies. The top should be puffy and cracked and a toothpick should not come out clean when inserted near the center. The brownies finish setting as they cool. Allow baked brownies to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for a minimum of one hour before cutting into squares.
