---------------------------------- RECIPE ------------------------------------
For the cake 22-23 cm (9 inches)
????Ingredients:
300 g (3 cups) rolled oats
120 g (2/3 cup) sugar (can be replaced with brown cane or coconut)
5 g (1 tsp) baking powder
2 g (1/4 tsp) salt
1 tsp cinnamon (can be replaced with vanilla) - optional
6 large apples - 1 kg of grated apples
100 g (1/2 cup) butter (cold)
45 g (2 tbsp) brown sugar (can be replaced with any other)
________________________________________
20 g (2 tsp) powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
????????Instructions:
????Turn on the oven for 175-180 C (360 F). MODE: Upper and Lower heat
✅In a food processor grind rolled oats about 1 minutes. We need coarse oatmeal, not flour.
✅Combine all dry ingredients: Combine grounded oats, sugar, baking powder, salt. Mix it up.
✅Prepare apples: Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.
✅Assemble the cake: Lay the parchment on the bottom of the split mold. Alternating layers, assemble the future cake: start with the dry part, about 4 tbsp, cover the bottom. Then 1/3 batch of apples, 1/3 batch of dry mixture, 1/3 apples, 1/3 dry mixture, 1/3 apples, 1/3 dry mixture.
Finish the assembly with the dry part. Rub cold butter on the top and sprinkle with brown sugar (or any other).
✅Bake in the oven, preheated to 175-180C, 55-60 minutes. Let cool to room temperature and enjoy ????
*If the top begins to actively turn golden, you can cover the mold with foil so that the top of the pie does not burn.
*Allow the cake to cool for 1 hour, remove from the mold and sprinkle a thin layer of powdered sugar on top (optional).
❗️Measurements Note: All recipes have been developed using weight measurements. Although US volume measurements have been included for your convenience, it is highly encouraged that you weigh your ingredients using a kitchen scale to get the best possible results. Due to the sensitive nature of baking, kitchen scales are proven to yield more accurate and consistent results than measuring cups. Enjoy!

The Best Apple Pie With Claire Saffitz | Dessert Person
I love an elaborate dessert on occasion, but after lots of trial and error, I’ve learned over time that when it comes to apple pie, simplest is always preferable. For Thanksgiving, what I want underneath a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a slice of buttery, cinnamony pie that tastes of apples and features a variety of textures. This pie, with an oat crumble topping rather than a top crust of lattice, checks all of those boxes.

This apple crisp has browned butter in the crisp topping, giving it a beautiful nutty aroma that complements the apples perfectly.
Yield: 6-8 servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
6 cups (900 g) apples (such as Gala, MacIntosh or other sweet, eating apple), peeled and sliced
¼ cup (60 mL) maple syrup
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
1 ¼ cups (115 g) regular rolled oats
1/3 cup (50 g) whole wheat flour
½ cup (100 g) packed light brown sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon
pinch salt
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
2. Place the sliced apples in a 6-cup (1.5L) by volume baking dish (any shape). Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla to coat the apples.
3. Melt the butter in a small saucepot over medium high heat until it browns and takes on a nutty aroma (once the foam subsides, it should be done). Set aside.
4. Stir the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the browned butter and stir until blended. Spread this evenly over the apples and bake for about 45 minutes, until the apples yield easily when a paring knife is inserted in the centre of the crisp (the crisp should be bubbling at the edges.) Allow the crisp to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
