1 1/2 lb Ground beef 6 c Water 3 ts Instant beef bouillon 2 c Sliced carrots 1 1/2 c Coarsely chopped onions 1 1/2 c Coarsely chopped celery 1/2 c Coarsely chopped green peppr 1/3 c Barley 1 ts Salt 1/8 ts Pepper 2 Bay leaves 1/4 c Catsup 1 cn (28 oz.)tomatoes, undrained 1 cn (8 oz) tomato sauce In 5-quart Dutch oven, brown ground beef (I use extra-lean): drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat: cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables and barley are tender. Remove bay leaves. Ingredients 1 1/4 lb ground beef 28 can crush tomatoes 2 tbsp beef bouillon ( add a little at a time until you get the right taste) 1 onion 2 stalks celery 2 carrots 1/2 red bell pepper thyme, rosemary, oregano 1 cup mixed vegetables 2 potatoes 1 tsp onion powder and garlic and herb seasoning 1/2 tsp dried thyme, pepper enough water to get to the consistency you like 1 tsp wostichier sauce 1 tsp sugar

What you will need 2 pounds chuck roast diced small fat removed 1 medium onion diced 2 carrots sliced 2 celery ribs chopped 4 cloves of garlic diced 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp oregano 2 tsp dried parsley 1 bay leaf 1 tsp seasoned salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 8 cups beef stock I used low sodium 1 14.5 ounce can fire roasted tomatoes blended 4 oz tomato sauce 1 to 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 2 medium Yukon gold potatoes small diced 1 cup kernel corn 2/3 cup medium barley Salt to taste......Enjoy!
