BAKED BRIE IN PUFF PASTRY RECIPE
Serves 15-20 guests
PRINT RECIPE HERE:
Ingredients
(3) wheels of brie (about 4 round)
2 tbsp fig jam
2 tbsp apricot jam
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
1 tbsp honey
4 sheets of puff pastry
1 egg
METHOD:
Unwrap brie and remove any stickers. Place fig jam on one and wrap in puff pastry, seam side down. Repeat the same with Apricot jam and 2nd wheel of brie. For third wheel spread honey on brie and top with chopped walnuts. Wrap in puff pastry, seam side down.
Use 4th sheet of puff pastry to cut out decorative shapes (leaves, stars, christmas trees) with a cookie cutter. Place shapes on top of brie packages. Then brush the tops with a beaten egg.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
ALLOW TO COOL FOR 15-20 mins! Otherwise, brie with run out and make a big mess! The idea is to serve these at room temperature. Place on a platter garnished with grapes and toasted raisin bread.

Baked Brie with Cranberry Pecan Sauce
Considering my self a cheese cynosure and lover, I just had to try this baked brie with cranberry pecan sauce. It is certainly a party pleaser and is a welcomed addition at any social gathering.
I love brie with its earthy, fruity, mild, just about mushroom like texture and flavour. Combine this with a sauce make from honey, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and the outcome is simply out of this world. Believe me, you family and friends will go crazy for the baked brie wheel. It is a fantastic idea for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
As always, give it a try and let us know what you think.

FULL RECIPE:
Easy Holiday Appetizer: Cranberry Baked Brie
If you’re looking for a Holiday Party appetizer, Cranberry Baked Brie is the simplest holiday recipe you’ll ever attempt! Serve it up with crackers, baguette slices, and anything else you like. It's so good you might just have to make two! #lovelulus #holiday #holidayseason #howto #recipe #holidayrecipes #bakedbrie #recipevideo
Step by Step:
MAKE THE CRANBERRY SAUCE:
1. Add sugar and water to a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves, about 1-2 minutes.
2. Next, lower the heat to a simmer over low heat and add the cranberries. Bring the mixture to a boil again (this is important for the sauce to thicken!), and then reduce the heat to a simmer over medium low heat.
3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries are mostly broken down. This will take about 10 minutes.
4. Next, stir in your mix-ins of choice. Use the sauce right away, or transfer to the fridge to store for up to a week before using.
MAKE THE BAKED BRIE:
1. Place the brie round in a brie baker or similar oven-safe dish, or on a parchment lined baking sheet.
2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, until nice and melty.
3. Transfer to a serving platter and brush the top of the brie with the maple syrup.
4. Spoon the cranberry sauce on top, and serve with crackers, baguette slices, etc.
Sugar Plum Baked Brie Bites | Easy Holiday Appetizer | Food Wishes
These sugar plum baked brie bites use the same ingredients that go into traditional Christmas sugar plums to make what might be one of the best holiday appetizers ever. Baguette slices, topped with dried fruits, nuts, warm spices, and melted Brie, are absolute perfection together, and maybe even better than a whole baked Brie. Enjoy!
