Hello everyone, welcome to Bodian life. I do love cooking and eating food. Today, I cooked the liquid until it coats your pork shoulder with a deeply flavored, glossy and beautiful sauce. That's How to glaze the perfect pork shoulder in 15 minutes.
▶ Ingredients :
● 0.5 kg, Pork shoulder
● 4 cloves, Garlic
● 1 tbsp, Palm Sugar
● 3 tbsp, Light Soy Sauce
● 2 tbsp, Oyster Sauce
● 1 tbsp, Dark Soy Sauce
● 1 tbsp, Cooking Rice Wine
● Pepper Powder, taste
● 150 ml, Water
● 1 tsp, Cornstarch + 50 ml, Water
▶ Method :
*The shoulder is a tougher cut located in the central portion of the foreleg. As both cuts contain a fair amount of fat, a certain degree of care is required when cooking them.
1. Trim off the fat, remove the skin and keep it for use. Trim off the flesh into small pieces or bite-sized pieces.
2. Transfer to a mixing bowl, add palm sugar, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce and mix it well. Them add pepper powder, cooking rice wine and marinate for 30 minutes.
3. Crush the cloves of garlic, remove the skin and then chop them.
4. Heat a pan, add the fat and fry until get oil. Then add the chopped garlic and fry until fragrant.
5. Add the marinated pork and pour the water, cook for about 5 minutes or until completely cooked.
6. Stir the cornstarch with water, pour into the pan, Cook until the liquid has thickened. Done !
7. Fresh peppers are recommended. Serve with steamed rice and Enjoy !!!

Pork stir fry with green pepper, or what we call “青椒肉丝” is a simple recipe, but it involves a Chinese restaurant’s secret. I am sure many of you have wondered why the meat in Chinese restaurants is so tender and succulent. I will reveal the secret and you will be able to make perfect stir fry from now on.
INGREDIENTS:
To Marinade the Pork
223 grams (1/2 lb) of pork
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of white pepper (Amazon Link -
1 tsp of dark soy sauce (Amazon Link -
1 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine (Amazon Link -
1 egg white
1 tbsp of cornstarch (Amazon Link -
1 tbsp of cooking oil
To Make the Sauce (碗芡)
1 tbsp of light soy sauce (Amazon Link -
1/2 tbsp of oyster sauce (Amazon Link -
1/2 tsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of five spice powder (Amazon Link -
1 tsp of cornstarch (Amazon Link -
60g (1/4 cup) of water
Others:
2 tbsp of pork lard or vegetable oil to stir fry
170 g (6 oz) Green pepper
3 cloves of garlic, diced
1.5 tsp of sweet flour sauce (Tian Mian sauce) (Amazon Link -
INSTRUCTIONS
Thinly julienne the pork and marinade it with salt, white pepper, dark soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, and egg white. Mix well then continue to massage the meat for 5 minutes.
Add a big drizzle of oil and mix to prevent the meat from tangling, making it easier to stir fry later. Set it aside.
Thinly slice the garlic and julienne the green chili pepper. If you don’t eat spicy food, use bell pepper.
In a bowl, thoroughly combine the light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, five-spice powder, cornstarch, and water. Set it aside
Turn the heat to high and heat the wok until smoking hot. Add the pork lard and stir the pork over high heat for a couple of minutes or until the meat changes color.
Add the tiam mian jiang (甜面酱) and mix well.
Switch the heat to medium, and add the garlic and green pepper. Keep mixing until the pepper is slightly welted. Pour in the sauce and stir well. Serve with white rice.

In The Netherlands, Babi Panggang is a pork dish served with a tomato-based sauce. Babi Panggang became popular in the Netherlands through so-called Chinese-Indonesian restaurants, common in the Netherlands since the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The dish consists of slices of crispy deep fried pork served on a bed of acar campur (a pickle-like salad made with thinly sliced white cabbage and carrots of Indonesian origin; it is written atjar tjampoer in Dutch) over which a generous amount of the sauce is poured. It is highly probable that the dish was developed by Cantonese cooks, either in the former Dutch East Indies (present day Indonesia) or in the Netherlands itself after the large influx of Asians and Eurasians following the loss of its Indonesian colony and the advent of large scale international migration world-wide.
