How To make Italian Style Lamb Chops
8 Lamb rib chops,1" thick
1 c Dry red wine
1/4 c Chopped onion
3 tb Soy sauce
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Sugar
2 ts Dried oregano leaves
2 ts Dried thyme leaves
3 tb Finely chopped parsley
1. Trim fat from chops and discard. Rinse chops and place in a heavy
plastic food bag. Add wine, onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, oregano, and thyme. Seal bag; rotate to mix ingredients well. Chill at least 30 minutes or up to 6 hours; turn occasionally. 2. Lift out chops, draining; reserve marinade. Place chops on a lightly
oiled rack on a broiler pan. Broil chops about 6" from heat, basting several times with marinade. Turn chops once to brown evenly, and cook until done to your taste. For medium-rare (still pink in center; cut to test), allow 8-10 minutes. Transfer chops to a warm platter; sprinkle with parsley. ~ Carole Van Brocklin, Port Angeles, Washington.

►Ingredients
►For the Lamb Chops
10 - 15 Lamb Chops
1 tsp. cumin powder
2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic granules
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. freshly chopped thyme
2 tbsp. sunflower oil
►Cooking
3 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. butter
3 thyme twigs
Chives for garnish
►For the Crispy Potatoes with Shallots
5 - 6 medium potatoes, large dice cubes
1 tsp salt.
1.5 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
2 tbsp. plain flour
4 tbsp. oil
2 shallots, cut into long thick slices
►Cooking
1 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. butter
Season with salt and pepper
Chives for garnish
►For the Mashed Potatoes
5 potatoes
3 large tbsp. of butter
Season with salt, pepper and dried thyme or rosemary
►For the Beetroot Puree Sauce
250g cooked or pickled beetroot
Half cup pickle water
2 tsp. lemon zest
Juice of half a lemon
1/2 tsp. salt

Garlic & Herb Grilled Lamb Chops ????????????
If you never had lamb chops, you're missing out.. They are absolutely phenomenal, especially when grilled and dunked in a delicious yogurt sauce. Don't let me forget to mention that they're easy to make. Definitely a protein I wanna get in my rotation more often!
FULL RECIPE ⬇️
INGREDIENTS
- 1 frenched rack of lamb
- ~1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- ~6 tbsp of fresh minced garlic
- 1 medium shallet grated
- ~4 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary
- ~4 tbsp fresh chopped thyme
- ~2 tbsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Garnishes: chopped parsley, cracked pepper & flakey salt.
Lemon Garlic Dill Yogurt Sauce
(Combine all ingredients)
- ~1 cup fat free plain greek yogurt
- ~1/4 cup fresh chopped dill
- ~1-2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
- ~1 tbsp lemon zest
- ~2 tbsp lemon juice
- smoked paprika to taste
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- ~4 tbsp xtra virgin olive oil
Note: Measurements are estimated.
Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.
DIRECTIONS
1. Trim the fat off of the rack of lamb to your liking then cut it into individual chops and add them to a large bowl.
2. Next add in the olive oil, minced garlic, grated shallot, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Mix till well combined.
3. Next prep the lemon garlic dill yogurt sauce and place it in the fridge until it's time to eat.
4. Set the grill up for high heat 2 zone cooking. Sear the lamb chops for 2-3 min per side flipping frequently to prevent them from burning. Then move them to the indirect side with lid shut to finish until they reach your desired internal temp. I pulled mine around 3-4 minutes resulting in a nice medium finish. (~140 degrees internal)
5. Let them rest for a few minutes then plate them up & ENJOY! ????????
