How To make Kidney Bean Corn Chili

1 small onion

chopped
1 garlic clove :

minced
1/2 cup green bell pepper

chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups frozen or fresh corn kernels
3 cups cooked kidney beans
1 cup water :

or bean cooking
liquid 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
Saute onion and garlic in oil. Brown green pepper lightly. Add liquid, corn a nd tomato paste. Mash 1 cup beans and then add all the beans to the mixture. Add seasonings. Bring to boil. Simmer for 1/2 hour until thick, not watery.
