Batik Cake Recipe - Kek Batik - Chocolate Biscuits Cake!
Making milo Kek Batik cake recipe. In this recipe video, we'll show you how to make batik cake. This batik cake is made with chocolate fudge and tea biscuits, similar to a chocolate biscuits cake.

It might look modern, but the Milo Kek Batik really is a recipe from long ago. Inspired by the British biscuit cake, you use just four ingredients probably already in your kitchen to get a chewy condensed milk milo cake sandwiched with layers of classic Marie biscuits. The origin of this cake is unknown or unclear. It bare’s similarities to Australia’s Hedgehog Slice and the English Chocolate Biscuit Cake which Prince William had as one of his wedding cakes. In Malaysia, it’s called batik cake due to it having Batik-like patterns from the crushed biscuits.
It has been said that the Batik cake is a type of Malaysian fridge cake dessert inspired by the tiffin, brought in the country by the British during the colonial era, and adapted with Malaysian ingredients.
