How To make Meat and Macaroni Casserole
16 oz Package, elbow macroni
3 Medium green peppers
3 Medium onions
1/2 lb Mushrooms
3 tb Salad oil
1 1/2 lb Ground bee, veal or pork
28 oz Can tomatoes
1/4 ts Pepper
8 oz Package mozzarella cheese
Prepare macaroni according to package directions, drain. Spoon into 13 x 9 baking dish. Meanwhile cut grren peppers into strips. Thinly slice
mushrooms. In a 12 " skillet over medium heat. Cook in hot salad oil. peppers, onions, mushrooms and salt, until vegetables are tender. Stir occasionally. Spoon vegetable mixture into baking dish with macroni. Preheat oven to 350. In drippings remaining from skillet, cook meat and garlic, until all panjuices evaporate, and meat is browned. Stir in tomatoes and thier liquid, pepper,half the grated cheese and salt. Spoon mixture into baking dish with macaroni and vegetables and toss ge ntly to mix. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is hot. Enjoy, Jeannie

Beef and Noodle Casserole - Italian Pasta Bake - Recipe
The Wolfe Pit make a very simple, one dish comfort meal of beef, mushrooms,tomato sauce and elbow noodles.
Ingredients
1.5 lb - Ground Beef
2 tsp - Granulated Garlic
1 TBS - Dried Minced Onion
1 tsp - Salt
1 tsp - Black Pepper
1 tsp - Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
1 tsp - Oregano
7oz - Canned Mushrooms w/juice
24 oz - Spaghetti Sauce
24 oz - Water
8 oz - Dry Uncooked Elbow Macaroni
1.5 Cups - Mozzarella Cheese
Macaroni and Beef Casserole
This Macaroni and Beef Casserole is like a homemade Hamburger Helper this is so much better tasting. It also has cheese in it. You can have dinner ready in an hour.
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni
1 Tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
1 cup onions
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup green bell pepper
4 garlic cloves
1 pound ground beef
Salt/Pepper
2 teaspoons italian seasoning
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
8 ounces of tomato sauce
Sauce:
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
Salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups milk
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tablespoons parmesan or more
Bring salted water to boil and boil your macaroni five minutes.
Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking, set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium heat, add your oil and cook your onions, celery and green bell pepper.
Add your garlic and round beef, salt, pepper, itlaian seasoning and parsley. Cook till no longer pink.
Add your tomato sauce and cook five more minutes, then set aside.
Put your mixture into a 9 X 13 baking dish.
Start your sauce:
Melt 2 Tablespoons butter with your flour and some salt.
Cook for two minutes and add your nutmeg and cayenne and milk. Cook till thick, about five minutes.
Add your cheese.
Pour sauce over your meat mixture. Add your parmesan and bake 35 minutes to heat everything back up @ 350F
