Meat Loaf
2 pounds ground beef
¼ cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup finely chopped bell pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 (or less) teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 dashes thyme
2 teaspoons of mayonnaise
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Work seasonings into the meat with your hands. Form into a loaf and place into a baking bag. Let’s prepare the glaze.
Glaze
¼ cup ketchup
1/8 cup Dejon mustard
¼ cup Baby Rays barbecue sauce
1/8 cup liquid smoke
¼ cup brown sugar
Whisk ingredients and pour over the meat. Tie the bag. Using a for or knife, create air vents in the bag. Bake in 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 60 minutes.
Allow the meat to rest for at least 10 minutes. Carefully open the bag and remove the meatloaf.
