How To make Mom's Peppered Ham
Ham shank Peppercorns, whole Water Place raw ham shank in big pot of water. Heat to boiling, reduce and simmer until done, about one hour (consult cooking chart per weight). Cool. De-skin, remove fat and bone. In the process, you will cut off some of the lesser-quality meat; will have 2-4 chunks of meat. (Save scraps and strain fat off top of water; the meat and pot liquor is great for cooking black beans.) Put whole peppercorns and water in blender; grind until pureed, till you have about 1/4 cup. Coat all sides of the ham chunks (not ends). Put in 300 - 325 degree oven to dry. Chill and slice as thinly as possible.

Stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers with Italian Flavors - Recipe
Stuffed Hot Cherry Peppers
Ingredients
• 32 oz jar whole hot cherry peppers
• ¼ lb. hard salami
• ¼ lb. peppered ham or ham of your choice
• ¼ lb. provolone cheese
• ¼ lb. American cheese
• 2 cup olive oil
• ¼ cup white vinegar
• ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
Directions
1. Cut stem off the pepper and remove seeds. Rinse under cold water while pulling the seeds out. Lay open side down on paper towel to drain. Blot dry with another paper towel prior to stuffing.
2. Layer alternating meat and cheese. Roll together and slice into approx. ½ inch portions. Stuff into dry peppers.
3. Sprinkle stuffed peppers with dry seasonings. Pour olive oil and vinegars on the stuffed peppers.
4. Return to jar and shake gently. Or you can put into a covered dish. Refrigerate.
5. Set on countertop 1/2 hour prior to plating.

With thanksgiving right around the corner this pineapple brown sugar glazed holiday ham will surely impress all of your friends and family. This easy baked ham recipe is perfect for any holiday.
Rub ham with 1 tbsp of mustard. Mix together 1/2 tsp allspice, 1/2 ground cloves and 1 tsp black pepper and 1 cup of brown sugar. Next coat the ham with the brown sugar mixture. Let the ham marinate for at least 3 hours.
Add your pineapple and cherries. Add your glaze to the bottom of the pan. Cook on 350 for 2 hours basting every 20 minutes
Glaze
1/2 cup honey
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch *optional
3/4 cup pineapple juice
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup cherry juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 ground cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground ginger

Ingredients
215 g shortcrust pastry
12 baby tomato's
2 tbsp tomato puree
4 slices ham
125 g cheese
50 g sweet pepper cut into strips
Method
STEP 1
Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. roll the pastry onto a floured surface or baking sheet about 1cm then place onto a tray and spread with the tomato paste.
STEP 2
then top with the cheese, ham , peppers and bake for 20-25 mins more until the base is nice and crisp
let cool then eat and enjoy.
MAKE IT VEGGIE
Swap the ham for a 280 g jar chargrilled artichokes.
Drain well, scatter over along with the other toppings

BROWN SUGAR & HONEY GLAZED BAKED HAM
Arrange rack in lower third of oven. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
1 (10-pound) smoked, bone-in ham
1 cup honey
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
1. Remove plastic packaging or netting from the ham. Rise ham under running cool water. Pat dry with paper towels.
2. Trim away any excess fat from ham leaving about a 1/4-inch layer all over. Set ham aside to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3. Line a sided baking sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil or several layer of regular aluminum foil (it will make clean up much easier). Place the ham, cut side down on baking sheet. Add 1/2 cup water around ham. Tightly cover ham with foil.
4. Bake 2 hours.
5. During last 15 minutes of cooking. In a small skillet or sauce pan, over medium heat, add the butter, brown sugar and honey. Stirring occasionally until brown sugar has dissolved, about 3-5 minutes. Set aside until lukewarm.
6. Remove ham from oven. Increase oven temperature to 425 degrees F. Remove foil from ham. Using a sharp knife score a 1-inch wide diamond pattern over the entire ham, Make sure not to cut more then 1/2-inch deep into ham.
7. Brush ham with a quarter of the honey glaze (about 1/4 cup), return to oven, bake uncovered for 15 minutes. Again remove ham from oven to brush with 1/4 cup of glaze and bake another 15 minutes. Repeat this two more times until the ham has baked a total of 1 hour.
8. Let the ham rest for 30-40 minutes before slicing.
