Delicious Okra Potato Fry With Tips And Tricks - Masala Bhindi Aloo Fry - Vegan Bhindi Recipe

If you do not like okra because of the slime then this recipe will change your mind. If you follow all the tips and tricks I mentioned you will start loving okra. This combination of bhindi with potatoes is really great and the addition of spices makes it super yummy.
Ingredients required for making bhindi aloo fry - Serves 4 to 5
Always use a wide frying pan to make this recipe .
* 420 gm/ 1 lb okra(bhindi). Please wash the okras very well before chopping them.
* 300 gm / 11 oz/ 2 medium to large potatoes
* 1/2 of a medium onion cut into rough slices
* 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds(rai)
* 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds(jeera)
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
* 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder. Please adjust proportion according to your preference. You can even use paprika or 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or any red chilli powder.
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin (jeera powder)
* 1 teaspoon ground coriander (dhania powder)
* 1/4 th freshly crushed black pepper
* 1 teaspoon heat salt or to taste
* 3 to 4 tablespoons oil
* 1 teaspoon fresh lime/lemon juice
Serve this with hot steamed rice or roti with any dal (check my channel page playlist for dal recipes given below).

LAY HO MA! I think okra is one of those under appreciated veggies. It's such a cool shape plus it's delicious and quite simple to cook. Join me in this episode and learn how to make this easy and tasty okra and tomato stir fry recipe right at home! Let's begin
Ingredients:
1/4lb okra
2 pieces garlic
1 red onion
1/4lb cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup canned chickpeas
drizzle of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup veggie stock
2 lemon wedges
Directions:
1. Slice the okra in half and finely chop the garlic. Half the red onion, then quarter the halves. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half
2. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium heat. Drizzle in some olive oil
3. Sauté the red onions and chickpeas with some salt and pepper for 3-4mins
4. Add the okra and garlic. Sauté for 2-3mins. Add the cherry tomatoes and season with some salt and pepper. Sauté for another 1-2mins
5. Add the veggie stock and sauté for another minute. Then, cover and cook for 5-6mins
6. Squeeze over some fresh lemon juice and serve
