Make Lina's pasta with sausage and peas, two ways! | Pasta Grannies
Lina shares her family recipe for pasta with a pork sausagemeat and pea sauce. She shows how to make two different pasta shapes, both of them easy, and both are good with this sugo. Strichetti, a butterfly shape, is slightly quicker to make than the 'ngana caplet, the dialect name for finti cappelletti, empty cappelletti. It's a pretty pasta to make! Lina says they look like cats ears. For her sauce, you'll need:
2 small or 1 large onion, 2 celery sticks, one carrot, diced finely
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 large Italian sausages, 100% meat, no rusk, crumbled
1 glass (around 100ml) white wine
400ml tomato passata
250g peas
freshly ground black pepper if your sausages are plain
salt (the quantity depends on the saltiness of your sausages)

The Pesto with Peas everyone should make this summer
This pesto uses less basil, drops the pine nuts, and adds a bunch of green peas. What results is a sweeter sauce that tastes really close to the original version except for its higher protein and lower fat. This pesto is perfect for whipping up pasta dishes, pizzas, or salads in no time.

Pea Pesto Pasta/Spaghetti Recipe by Food Prescription
Ingredients:
• Green peas 1 cup
• Basil - 1/2 cup
• Garlic
• 1 Onion - Chopped
• 1 Capsicum
• Olive Oil - 3 tsp
• Coriander leaves
• Cashews
• Salt & Black pepper - 1/2 tsp each
• Chilli flakes
• Boiled Spaghetti - 100 gram
Pesto Sauce:
• In a heated pan, add oil, saute garlic and onion. Cook for 5 min on low flame.
• Add in the peas and cashews and cook for another 5 min.
• Then turn off the flame, add basil leaves, capsicum, and coriander leaves.
• Cool this mixture and blend along with black pepper, salt, olive oil, and some ice cubes.
• And the pesto sauce would be ready.
• Heat a pan, add olive oil and the pesto sauce, cook for a couple of minutes.
• Then add 1/4th cup of pasta water.
• Cook for 5 min.
• Add in the boiled spaghetti and add chilli flakes.
• Serve it with grated cheese and top it with basil leaves.
• And your Pesto Spaghetti is ready to be served!!!

I'm sure that everyone will love today's recipe, since it's a rich first course, tasty and easy to make: pasta with ham, peas and cream. Let's see how to do! We'll need:
• 14 oz (400 g) of short pasta
• just over 1 cup (150 g) of frozen peas
• 4,2 oz (120 g) of ham
• just under ½ cup (100 ml) of heavy cream • 1 pinch of nutmeg / pepper to taste / salt
• 1/3 stick (40 g) of butter
• 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, then add the peas. Stir well, add a bit of hot water, cover with a lid and cook on a low flame.
Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the diced ham and let it brown. Then add the cream, the ground pepper, the nutmeg, finally the peas and salt to taste.
Boil the pasta and drain al dente, then toss in the pan with the sauce.
