Gorgonzola Pasta with chicken and mushrooms

Gorgonzola Pasta with chicken and mushrooms
1 package of button mushrooms
1 wedge gorgonzola (about 3/4 cup)
1/2 pound penne pasta
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 onion sliced
3 chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
3 large cloves garlic chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 tables spoon olive oil
- Begin to boil the water for the pasta. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a pan and add onion. Let saute for about 10 minutes until translucent.
- Add salt, pepper, chili flakes and garlic and saute another 3 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and cook about 10 minutes until their almost cooked through.
- Add the chicken pieces and let cook about 4 minutes (don't let them cook all the way through) Meanwhile, add the pasta to the salted water.
- Add the heavy, nutmeg and gorgonzola. Mix and cover for about 3 minutes so the cheese can melt.
- Add a ladle full of pasta water and salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 3 more minutes until the sauce is the desired consistency. Add the pasta and serve. Enjoy!!

Ingredients:-
2 tbsp olive oil
4-5 cloves garlic
A packet of pasta
1 onion
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried mixed Italian herbs
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 kg chicken thigh
200 grams of mushrooms
150 ml cream
Parsley to garnish
Salt to taste
Method:-
- In a saucepan heat Olive Oil and saute garlic, onion, thyme with italian herbs, black pepper and salt.
- Add the chicken and cook for 7 minutes.
- Then add mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms release liquids.
- Pour the cream in batches as required and stir.
- Now add coriander and mix well.
Delicious and Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Pasta is ready to serve!

If you like gorgonzola cheese
here is a quick and creamy
pasta dish which enhances its flavor
joined to smoked ham aroma.
Recipe:
doses for 2-3 people
200 gr. of short shape pasta
80-100 gr. gorgonzola cheese
a cup of fresh milk
one slice of smoked ham around 30 gr.
salt
pepper
Take a thick slice of smoked ham and cut it in sticks.
At very low fire, let heat them in a little pan, with only
some drops ol Extravirgin Olive Oil.
Heat the milk, when hot
melt the gorgonzola cheese in the milk, mixing well.
Pass the milk with the gorgonzola through a colander,
add a little pinch of salt and sauce is ready!
Cook whatever kind of pasta in salty boiling water
drain al dente, and drop in the sauce
mix well in the sauce with smoked ham sticks
add a little grated pepper on the top
An other choice could be to add smoked ham sticks
directly on individual dish.
