Golden Chicken Thighs with Plum Sauce
This is a simple yet delicious dish that you can make quickly, after coming home from a hard day's work. It's sweet, sour and savoury. And it goes down very well with rice and kids… I mean kids love it as well.
Ingredients:
800g Chicken tight
1 Tbsp Oyster sauce
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp corn starch
Sauce:
2 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Plum sauce
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
75 ml Water

300g Boneless chicken thigh
1 tsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
Pepper powder
1 tsp Corn starch
3 cloves of Garlic(minced)
Ginger
1 Yellow onion
Spring onion
1 tsp Corn starch add 80ml Water
½ Egg
3 tbsp Fried chicken powder
Cooking oil
5 tbsp Plum sauce
1 tsp Sugar
Spring onion
Sesame seeds

梅子酱鸡 || Sour plum sauce chicken
2 boneless chicken whole leg
Some pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 clove garlic
Sauce
2 tablespoons plum sauce
1 tablespoon Thai style sweet chili sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
Half cup water
1 onion ( sliced ) for sauté
1 clove garlic ( minced ) for sauté
Chicken coating with cornstarch
Thinly coat every piece of chicken
Marinate the chicken with all the seasonings and set aside marinate for at least 30 minutes
Mix up all the sauce ingredients , mix well and set aside
Thinly coat every piece of chicken , pan fry the chicken over medium heat until golden brown and fully cooked . Set aside
The wok left a bit of oil , sauté the onion and garlic until slightly soft and fragrant add in sauce mixture bring it to simmer until slightly thicken and turn over high heat before add in chicken . To toss until every pieces chicken fully coat with the sauce . Off the heat and ready to serve
