-cups chopped) 1 lb Cooked diced potatoes (about
-2 cups) 1 lg Onion, grated
1/4 Green pepper, chopped
1 c Beef stock or gravy
1/3 c Tomato paste
Salt to taste Fresh ground pepper to taste
From "The New York Times Cook Book." Chop or grind the roast beef, add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn the mixture into a greased, preheated frying pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the hash is thoroughly hot. Let cook until brown and crusted underneath. Fold the hash over as you would an omelet and turn out on a hot platter.

How to Roast Onions and Garlic
The ingredient list depends on how much hash your gonna sling!!
Roasted garlic
Roasted onion.
2-4 separate cloves garlic unroasted
1/2-1 onion unroasted
Add all ingredients to hash along with 1-2 cups frozen hash browns, mix well!!

Slow cooked corned beef crock pot, de-fatted broth cabbage carrot potatoes on stovetop. Also Reuben Sandwich plus Corned Beef Hash.
Details: rinse corned beef brisket, place in crock pot fat side up, top with seasoning packet, a cup of water, one carrot, one celery stalk, a small onion (all coarse chopped), two bay leaves. Cook to 180 degrees internal temperature and rest 20 minutes before slicing.
Chill the cooking liquid to remove fat. Cook potato and carrot in the broth about 10 minutes before adding cabbage. Cook cabbage about 10 minutes.

Ingredients for Corned Beef and Cabbage Recipe
12oz canned CORNED BEEF
1 small CABBAGE
1 large ONION
1 large CARROT
3-4 cloves GARLIC
2-3 Tbsp VINEGAR
2 Tbsp WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 tsp CARAWAY SEEDS
1 Tbsp dried HERBS
SALT and PEPPER to taste
OIL for cooking
How to make Corned Beef and Cabbage
Heat oil on medium heat in a large, heavy bottomed pot.
Add in chopped onions. Sauté onions for about five minutes.
Season onions with salt, pepper, and herbs.
Add in garlic and sauté for another minute.
Add in the cabbage and carrots and continue to cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add in the Worcestershire sauce and vinegar and mix well.
Reduce the heat to medium low and let cook uncovered until much of the water has cooked out of the dish. Stir occasionally.
While cabbage continues to cook, open canned corned beef and cut into slices.
Heat a skillet on medium high heat and then sear the beef until well browned on each side. Then cut beef into smaller pieces.
When cabbage has reached desired doneness, add in the seared beef and toss lightly.
Serve hot.
