INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons instant espresso coffee powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the butter and both sugars. Beat until the mixture is light and fluffy, approximately 1 minute.
Add the egg and vanilla beating for an additional 30 seconds until well combined.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the mixer while beating on low speed.
Continue beating for 15 seconds or until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
Fold in the chocolate and espresso powder.
Place 1/4 cup mounds of cookie dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper about 3 inches apart and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cookies are browned around the edges. (You should be able to fit 3 cookies on a standard size sheet.)
Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely. Repeat with remaining dough.

Today, in the spirit of the holidays, we decided to feature the infamous $250 Neiman-Marcus cookie recipe, based on that chain e-mail that circulated the internet many years ago. Although we later found out that the story behind the e-mail is a hoax, the recipe is still as authentic as they come, and man is it good!

The Neiman Marcus Cookie Recipe
This is an oldie but a goodie! Many versions of this Neiman Marcus Cookie recipe are floating around, but here's the one we used for this video:
* 1/2 stick softened butter
* 1 cup brown sugar (see how to make your own here if you only have white sugar:
* 3 tbsp granulated sugar (I feel like you could omit this, tho)
* 1 large egg
* 2 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 + 3/4 all-purpose flour
* 1/2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp baking soda
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1.5 tsp instant espresso coffee powder
* 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and blend in slowly. Stir in espresso powder and chocolate chips. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet and flatten with the back of a spoon. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.

Quick and easy chocolate chip cookie recipe

Makes 5 dozen
**Note, the recipe used in this video is a half of the original recipe, you can double the ingredients if you wish to make 10 dozen cookies**
Preheat oven-350°
Ingredients
1 cups flour , 2 1/2 cups oatmeal flour, I cup sugar, i cup brown sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda , 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tbsp expresso power, 2 egss, 1 cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 1/2 cups assorted chocolate chips
Instructions
Blend oatmeal in a blender until it turns into flour.
In a separate bowl, add flour, oatmeal flour, salt, baking powder and soda, aside
Cream butter , sugar and brown sugar together.
Add eggs and vanilla to sugar, butter mixture and mix until fully incorporated..
Add butter mixture to flour mixture,mix until fully incorporate
Add chocolate chips,
Roll or scoop into 1 or 2 inch balls
Place cookies 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 -12 minutes at 350° or until golden.
