How To make 7 Grain Vegetable Soup
INTO A LARGE KETTLE PUT:
2 qt Water
brING TO A BOIL, THEN ADD:
1 qt Tomatoes & juice
1 c AM 7 Grain Cereal (uncooked)
1 cn Green beans & juice
3 Celery stalks chopped
1 cn Whole kernel corn & juice
6 oz Jar sliced mushrooms
3 c Squash, cubed
1 tb Onion powder
2 ts Garlic powder
1 t Celery seed
Sea salt :
to taste -OR- vegetable seasoning
Bring to boil and simmer, covered for 1 hour. Add 1 tablespoon of AM Canola Oil before serving, and a handful of chopped parsley. Any other vegetables of choice may be added or substituted. Ingredients:
Sweet Corn - 2 nos
For Corn cream:
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt & pepper
Corn flour - 1 tsp
For the Soup:
Oil - 2 tsp
Garlic - 2 cloves (chopped)
Spring onions - 1 stalk (finely chopped)
Carrot - 1 nos (finely chopped)
Few Beans (chopped)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup
Celery - 1 stalk (chopped)
Salt & pepper
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Method:
1. Cook the corn by boiling it in water
2. Remove the kernels and grind half of them to paste
3. In a wide pan, heat butter. Add the remaining corn, salt & pepper and mix well
4. Now add some water, ground corn paste and mix. Close and cook.
5. Add diluted corn flour and cook till it becomes creamy in consistency
6. In a pan, add oil, garlic, spring onions, carrot, beans, cabbage, celery and mix well till half cooked.
7. Add salt, pepper and water. close and cook the vegetables
8. Now add the creamy corn and cook till it boils
9. Add spring onions and diluted corn flour again and cook till its thick in consistency. Done!

6 cups vegetable broth
2 cans (15-ounce each) diced tomatoes
1 cup lentils uncooked, green or brown
1 teaspoon thyme dried
1 teaspoon oregano dried
1½ teaspoons salt or more to taste
¼ teaspoon black pepper or red pepper flakes
5 ounces spinach (about 4 to 5 cups)

To Make Dal Soup
Toor Dal - 2 Tbsp
Masoor Dal - 2 Tbsp
Moong Dal - 2 Tbsp
Ghee - 3 Tsp
Garlic - 2 Cloves
Ginger
Green Chilli - 2 Nos
Onion - 1 No.
Tomato - 1 No.
Pumpkin - 1 Cup
Carrot - 1 No.
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Kashmiri Chilli - 1 Tsp
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Water
Method:
1. Take toor dal, masoor dal and moong dal in a bowl.
2. Wash them nicely and soak them in water for about 10 mins.
3. Take ghee in a pressure cooker.
4. Add chopped garlic, ginger, green chillies and onions to it. Saute until the onions are pink.
5. Then add in chopped tomatoes, pumpkin and carrot.
6. Saute the vegetables for a few mins.
7. Add in the soaked dal, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
8. Add 2 cups of water to the cooker and mix. Pressure cook the dal & veggies for 3-4 whistles on a medium low flame.
9. Cool the cooked dal and vegetables. Transfer them into a mixer jar, add water and grind into smooth paste.
10. Transfer the ground paste into a pan and add water. Mix.
11. Add in pepper powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder. Add salt if required.
12. Boil the mixture for 5 mins on a medium low flame.
13. Add in coriander leaves and cook for 2 more mins. Add water if required/
14. Mix it all well.
15. Healthy and wholesome dal soup is ready to be served hot and nice.
