Low Fat Raw Vegan Gingerbread Cookies -dehydrator series
Hey, Hey! My name’s Tanny, but people call me TannyRaw.
19 years ago I switched from a Standard American Diet to whole-foods plant-based. 14 years ago, I transitioned into an entirely low fat raw vegan lifestyle and I haven’t looked back since.
Changing my food to strictly whole raw healthy living greens, plant fats, and fruits healed me from a host of auto-immune diseases and chronic gut and health issues.
Within less than a year, I lost 86 pounds and could finally move without experiencing pain. My skin cleared, I gained a head full of thick curly hair, and experienced a dramatic change in my eye color! Just a handful of the benefits I’ve enjoyed from a purely raw diet.
I’m sharing everything I know about low-fat raw vegan & the “Do different. Get Different” mindset because nothing feels as good as health does and I want this for you.
You’ll find HUNDREDS of recipes and everything from my favorite kitchen tools to how to budget on a raw vegan diet + ways to take your health to new heights. #sprouts and #microgreens for the WIN!
My goal is to give you the support you need to succeed wherever you are on your health journey—whether you are transitioning to a vegetarian or vegan diet or committing fully to LFRV Most importantly, I'm here to empower you to live and love more freely.

Here is where you can get the purple spatula for the person who asked:
Vegan Gingerbread Men
3 very ripe bananas, peeled
2 c roasted Hannah yam or other white sweet potato, peeled
4 T Pumpkin pie spice
2 T ground ginger
1/2 c date paste (optional)
2 T black strap molasses (optional)
4 c rolled oats (3 c if omitting date paste and molasses)
Preheat oven to 375°. In a food processor fitted with the S blade, combine bananas, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie spice, ginger, date paste, and molasses. Process until very smooth. Remove from food processor and pour into large mixing bowl. Add the rolled oats and combine well. Form into the shape of gingerbread people and decorate with optional raisins and dried cranberries or whatever you prefer. Bake on a silicone baking sheet at 375° for 20 minutes. To avoid sticking, allow to cool completely before using a spatula to take the cookies off the silicone baking mat. Store in the refrigerator for later—if they last that long! My name is Heather and I'm from Portland, Oregon. I am eating a plant-based, whole foods, unprocessed diet, with no sugar, oil, or salt, to take off weight and regain my life. I once weighed over 436 lbs and have released over 238 lbs eating this way and walking for exercise. I call my channel The Butterfly Effect because I believe that all the small choices you make, over time, add up and have a huge effect on your life. I wanted to show people like me who have 100, 150, 200 or more pounds to take off that it can be done and we can do it together. I am far from perfect and have struggled with compulsive eating and been overweight for all of my life, but there is hope for me and there is hope for you too. What can you do, today, to bring you closer to your goals tomorrow? Please consider giving my videos a thumbs up, commenting and subscribing. I would be incredibly grateful for your support on this journey!

In this video, we're going to share with you a delicious recipe for chewy ginger cookies. This low carb recipe for soft ginger cookies is keto-friendly and so tasty. These keto cookies are gluten-free, sugar-free, and wheat-free.
Remember, if you're on healthy keto, to have just one of these homemade chewy ginger cookies after a meal. This is a perfect little keto dessert—not a snack.
Sugar-free Chewy Ginger Cookies Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 ½ cup almond flour
½ cup sugar substitute (Just Like Sugar™)
½ tsp cinnamon
½ nutmeg
2 tsp ginger
¼ tsp salt
6 tbsp butter, stored under room temperature
3 tbsp FiberYum liquid sweetener (or similar – NOT honey or agave)
2 tablespoons water
1 tsp black strap molasses
1 egg (organic, pasture-raised)
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix wet ingredients with a hand beater until well-blended.
In a larger bowl, mix dry ingredients. Pour wet mix into the dry and mix well. Using a spatula, pull all dough into the middle of the bowl and chill for about an hour so it would be easy to handle.
When chilled, roll into balls of any size. I use a cookie-baller and overfill a bit. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges start to brown. They will be soft when you take them out. Cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy!!!

Gingerbread Cookie Bites
Gingerbread cookie recipes typically call for eggs, brown sugar, a lot of butter and processed white flour - it’s the spices that make them taste the way they do, not all the junk!
Ingredients:
1 cup quick oats
8 Medjool dates
½ cup cooked sweet potato
4 squares of graham crackers
2 Tbsp hemp seeds
1” thumb of fresh ginger
1 Tbsp Blackstrap molasses
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground nutmeg
½ tsp sea salt
⅛ tsp ground cloves
Instructions:
Add ingredients to a food processor and pulse until the mixture is well-combined. Roll into 1” balls and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving
Black Forest Smoothie
The taste of chocolate and cherries together are a winning combination!
Ingredients:
⅓ cup raw almonds
¼ cup rolled oats
2 cups water
½ frozen banana
1 ½ cups frozen cherries
4 Medjool dates
2 Tbsp cacao powder
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp almond extract
¼ tsp espresso powder
Instructions:
Blend the almonds and water together for 1 minute, then add remaining ingredients and blend for several minutes until completely smooth.
Note: I prefer using frozen cherries for this smoothie; they’re quicker than pitting fresh cherries, and are more consistent (I find that fresh cherries can spoil quickly)
Sun Gold Dressing
Ingredients:
½ cup nutritional yeast
¼ cup water
¼ cup raw cashews
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp tamari
1 clove garlic
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely combined.
