Pastry for 9 inch lattice- - 1 Egg; beaten
2/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Brown sugar
1 c Dairy sour cream
4 c Tart apples, cored, pared; a
1/2 c Golden raisins
Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry. Combine egg, sugars and sour cream; stir in sliced apples and raisins. Turn into pastry shell. Add lattice top; seal edges and flute. Bake in 400~ oven for 50 minutes or until done, covering edges with foil during last 15 minutes baking time. -----

EASY APPLE CREAM PIE
3 cups peeled and sliced thin Granny Smith apples
2 T Flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 t salt
1 egg
1/2 t vanilla
Cream flour, sugar, sour cream, salt, egg, and vanilla together. Add Sliced apples.
Pour into uncooked pie crust and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
While baking, mix together 1/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and a 1/4 cup sugar. Cut the butter into the mixture.
When pie is finished with the first bake reduce oven temperature to 325. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over the top of pie and bake an additional 20 minutes. Let pie stand 1 hour before cutting into.

SOUR CREAM APPLE WALNUT PIE
MAKES ONE 9 in. Pie. BAKE 375F from 45-60 mins
NEED 1 Pie Crust - unbaked- put on pie pan or cheesecake pan
DO THE APPLES LAST!!!
3-4 Macintosh apples peeled, cored and sliced
1- Fugi apple peeled, cored and sliced
2 granny smith apples peeled, cored and sliced
SOUR CREAM FILLING:
10oz of sugar
4 T. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 2/3cups sour cream - full fat
Mix all these together with a whisk in a bowl and put aside in fridge.
CRUMB TOPPING WITH WALNUTS:
1/2 cup walnut halves
1 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
4 T. melted butter
Put all dry ingredients in food processor. Add melted butter while running machine. Scape once and add walnuts. Pulse until walnuts are a little smaller and when you hold the topping in your palm, it stays together. If not, add a tablespoon of melted butter until it does.
ASSEMBLY:
Put half the apples in bottom of pie crust. Pour half the aour cream mixture and repeat ending with sour cream. Tap down a little. Put crumb topping on top and add some chopped walnuts on top for extra garnish. Put in iven for 40-45 mins. You may need to cover with aluminum foil for the last 15 mins. so the walnuts don’t burn. It is done when golden brown and the knife pomes and apples are tender. Keep this pie in the fridge as it is cream based. You can warm up when ready to serve. This is great to make a day or two before serving.
