How To make Barbecue Style Ribs
2 1/2 pounds pork country-style ribs
to 3
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic :
minced
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 can tomato sauce -- 8oz
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
In covered grill arrange medium hot coals around a drip pan. Test for medium heat above pan. Place ribs on grill rack over drip pan but not over coals. Lower grill hood. Grill for 1 hour. Prepare sauce: In a medium saucepan cook onion and garlic in hot oil till tender. Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, 1/2 cup water and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Brush ribs with sauce. Grill ribs about 30 minutes more or until well done, brushing occasionally with sauce. Pass remaining sauce with ribs.

Simple Filipino- style bbq pork ribs simmered in an easy homemade barbecue sauce. With no oven or grill and with only a few ingredients. Seared the ribs then add the mixed barbecue sauce plus water in a wok or cooking pot and let them slow cooked for 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours until the pork ribs is tender. The resulting pork ribs were so tender and the sauce is thick and flavourful. Serve with rice or corn on the cob. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2kg pork ribs, cut into serving portions
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 small size lemon or 3 pieces calamansi
- 1/2 cup banana ketchup
- 1/4 cup bbq marinade ( mama sita's bbq marinade or you can use any brand of your choice )
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 3 to 4 drops worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons sugar ( adjust to your taste )
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 1/2 cups water ( add more if needed )
- 2 pieces dried chili ( adjust to your taste )
* Slow cooked on low heat for 11/2 to 2 hours until the ribs is tender.

Just add an easy spice rub and a brush of barbecue sauce.
Ingredients!
2 lbs. country style ribs
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. tsp. smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsps. yellow mustard
1 cub Jack Daniel's Honey bbq sauce
1/3 cup honey
4 tbsps. unsalted butter
Bake for 2 hour on 300 degrees
