Years ago I used to have a restaurant down in the Tex-Mex and taqueria territory of San Juan, Texas.
In an effort to serve consistent, delicious salsa roja to the customers I needed to make large batches at a time. This is the exact recipe I came up with that kept everyone coming back for more.

5 roma tomatoes
5 serrano peppers
A handful cilantro
¼-⅓ Onion
1 Can crushed tomatoes
3 Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
Grandé Organic Refried Bean Salsa (Dip) - Recipe For Under $5 in 5 Minutes
This bean dip, or bean salsa is perfect for chips, nachos, tacos, burritos, taco salads and other dishes you might find more delicious after drizzling something like this over or dipping into.. many variations can be drawn from this method, but this is what i improvised with.. bon appétit! or buenos appetito
Prep time & cook times will vary, but can be done in under 5 minutes.. Obviously it takes longer to make when explaining it, hence the duration of the video along with my digressions & Natural Law lessons.
ingredients used in this recipe:
2 cloves garlic
1/4 onion
20 sprigs of cilantro
1-2 oz. Jalapeño Juice
1 can of refried beans
1 can of roasted diced tomatoes
I forgot some lemon juice- mama mia!
salt
pepper
Italian herbs
paprika (sweet & smoked)
(i should've doused it with turmeric, chillie spice blend, and maybe a lil cumin or cayenne among other wonderful herbs & spices- including fresh parsley) i encourage variety & creativity!
I am not a professional cook, but could be after cooking & experimenting in the kitchen for a long time & worked many positions in restaurants in 2 countries for over 15 years.. Ingredients (double or triple for more!):
1 Tablespoon Bacon Grease for flavor! (optional)
1 Can refried beans (16 oz.)
1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
Dash of Garlic Salt or Garlic Powder
Dash Cumin
Dash Onion Powder
4 Slices American Cheese (Kraft Deli Deluxe)
Hot Sauce to taste (The General's Hot Sauce:

Ingredients
Canned Tomato - 5 Nos
Chopped Tomato - 6 Nos
Chopped Onion - 2 Nos
Garlic - 5 Nos
Green Chilli - 2 Nos
Juice Of 1 Lemon
Salt
Pepper - 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves
Method:
1. Chop the onions and keep aside. Peel off the garlic skin and keep aside. Deseed the green chilies and keep aside. Chop the tomatoes and keep aside. Cut the lemons into half and keep aside. Roughly chop the coriander and keep aside.
2. To a mixer jar, add canned tomatoes, onions, garlic green chilies and pulse roughly.
3. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin powder, red chili powder, chopped tomatoes and coriander.
4. Pulse it all again.
5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl.
6. Tangy Salsa is ready to be served with Nachos or any dish as desired.

RECIPE: Black Bean and Corn Salsa
INGREDIENTS:
1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 15.5 ounce can corn, drained
1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, petite (drained)
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground (or to taste)
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Kosher salt (to taste)
Pepper, ground (to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Add all ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix well.
2: Chill in the refrigerator and serve.
NOTES:
This Black Bean and Corn Salsa is prefect as a dip for tortilla chips, spooned over burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, taco salad and more.
Adjust the ingredients to taste as desired.
You can eat if before chilling if you can’t wait :)
