How To make Beef Stroganoff Russian Style
1 lb Sirloin steak, cut in thin
-strips 4 tb All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Salt
4 tb Butter or margarine
1 cn (3 oz.) sliced mushrooms;
-drained 1/2 Chopped onion
1 Clove of garlic; minced
1 tb Tomato paste
1 cn (10 oz.) beef broth
1 c Sour cream
Hot buttered noodles PREPARATION Coat beef strips with 1 tablespoon flour and salt. Brown beef strips quickly in 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic; cook until onion is crisp-tender, 3 to 4 min. Remove meat and mushrooms from pan. Add 2 tablespoon butter to pan drippings; blend in 3 tablespoon flour. Add tomato paste. Stir in broth. Stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Return meat and mushrooms to skillet. Stir in sour cream; cook slowly until heated through. Do not boil. The legendary dish beef stroganoff was created by the French chef Andre Dupont who served at Count Stroganoff A. G. kitchen. Later the recipe of beef stroganoff became so popular that was included in all the cookbooks about Russian cuisine. Small pieces of beef stewed with mushrooms and filled with sour cream. It seems nothing can be easier? And still here are own secrets of cooking, they are revealed in our recipe.

✅ Ingredients:
• beef – 700 g
• mushrooms – 250 g
• bulb onion – 220 g
• beef broth – 250 ml
• mustard – 1 tsp
• butter – 30 g
• vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
• bay leaf – 1
• 20% sour cream – 250 g
• black pepper – to taste
• salt – to taste
• parsley – 2 sprigs

???? Preparation:
1. Cut the onion into strips, mushrooms into slices, beef into not big bars.
2. Heat the pan with vegetable oil, put one layer of the meat on it and fry over high heat for 3-5 minutes, keep flipping over not to burn. Fry the whole meat this way.
3. Take out the fried meat into the bowl.
4. Add the onion to the pan and fry over medium heat for 4 minutes.
5. Add the mushrooms and fry for 7 minutes over low heat.
6. Pour in the broth, add salt, pepper, mustard and bay leaf and stew for 3 minutes over low heat.
7. Lay the fried meat back to the pan and stir.
8. Add the sour cream, parsley, stir and take off the pan from the stove.
9. Serve the beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, vegetables, rice or pasta.

Recipe for a quick and easy way of preparing this classic Russian dish.
Beef Stroganoff is a dish of Russian origin popular all over the world. It consists of sautéed pieces of beef in a sauce made with sour cream and is usually served with rice.
Russian Beef Stroganoff Recipe (with the Whatever Pan) | Best Cookware
Ingredients
• 2 tbsp salted butter, divided
• 225 g/8 oz button mushrooms, sliced
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 450 g/1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1 cube beef broth
• ½ tsp ground mustard seeds, (or 1 tbsp whole grain mustard)
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• ½ cup sour cream
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp ground black pepper
Method
• In your Whatever Pan, heat 1 tbsp of butter. Saute the mushrooms in the butter over medium high heat for 2 minutes. Remove the mushrooms from the pan and set aside.
• Add the remaining 1 tbsp butter to the pan and heat until melted. Add the onions to the butter and saute for 1-2 minutes.
• Add the beef chunks to a bowl and toss in the flour. Mix well and add to the Whatever Pan. Cook until browned, 2-3 minutes.
• Add the beef broth, ground mustard seeds, and tomato paste to the pan along with the cooked mushrooms.
• Cover and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, until the beef is cooked to your liking.
• Place the sour cream into a small bowl and mix a little of the broth from the skillet with the sour cream to warm it. Pour the warmed sour cream mixture into the saucepan and mix to combine.
• Taste the stroganoff and add the salt and pepper, to taste.
• Serve the Stroganoff with potatoes, rice, or noodles!

Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is a Russian dish of sautéed pieces of beef served in beef broth and thick coconut cream. From its origins in mid-19th-century Russia, it has become popular around the world, with considerable variation from the original recipe.
Ingredients
Butter- 1 tbs
Beef- 500 gram
Butter- 1 tbs
Onion- 2 medium size chopped
Garlic- 2 nos chopped
Mushroom - 10 sliced
Salt- 1-2 tsp
Ground mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp (optional)
Saute for- 5 min
All purpose flour- 3/4 tsp
Beef Broth- 1 cup
Simmer it for another 5 min
Fresh coconut cream/milk- 3/4 cup
Add the fried Beef
Simmer for another 2 min
Turn off the flame
Curry leaf-optional
Better serve with Pasta/ Palappam.
