Barbq Baked Beans with Ground Beef!
Hey Guys! Welcome back to my channel. In today’s video I’m going to show you how to make Baked Beans. Just in time for Labor Day weekend these Baked Beans go perfectly with your holiday barbecue.
Each and every cookout that my family has we have to have Baked Beans. They go perfectly with potato salad and a hotdog or hamburger. No cookout would be complete without my special Labor Day Baked Beans!
Labor Day Baked Beans:
1, 3 Pound Can Bushes Baked Beans
2, 16.5 Cans Bush Baked Beans
1/2 Large Green Bell Pepper
1/2 Large White Onion
2 Pounds Ground Beef
1 Teaspoon Lawry’s Garlic Salt
1 Teaspoon Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
2 Teaspoons French’s Yellow Mustard
1/4 Cup Grandma’s Molasses
1/4 Cup Barbecue Sauce
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Texas Pete Hot Sauce
In a medium to large frying pan brown the ground beef. Once done drain most of the fat but not all of it because you are going to cook the peppers and onions in with the ground beef.
Cook until the peppers and onions are soft but not mushy.
Next pour the cans of beans into a large brown. Pour the ground beef mixture in with the beans. Add the chili powder, molasses, mustard, hot sauce, barbecue sauce and brown sugar and stir everything together. Give it a taste.
I suggest that you taste your beans because the addition of each sweet ingredient to make sure that they aren’t too sweet for you.
Pour into a greased baking dish for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Serve at your cookouts for a dish that’s sure to please. Enjoy!
