How To make Black Walnut Christmas Cake

black walnuts, chopped fine
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks all at once. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Set aside 1 cup of the dry ingredients. Add the remaining flour mixture and the milk in small portions, alternately, mixing well with each addition, starting and ending with an addition of the dry ingredients. Mix together, the reserved flour and the nuts, and stir into the batter, mixing just until blended. Beat the egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Fold them into the batter.
Bake in a 9x5 greased and floured loaf pan, or 3 quart mold at 350F about 50-60 minutes, or until done.
Frost with your favorite icing.

The cake:
1 cup light olive oil
6 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 cup (220g) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups (280g) all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 cups coarsely ground walnuts plus 1 tablespoon flour
The Honey Syrup:
2 cups sugar
1 cup honey
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
The garnish:
1/2 cup ground walnuts
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 °F, 180 °C and grease the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
*Tip: Begin by measuring out your dry ingredients so that you will have fewer things to clean ???? Also, measure your honey after measuring the oil for the cake. Doing this makes the honey slide out of the measuring cup much easier.
Make the Syrup: Combine the sugar, water, cloves ,and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to a boil. As soon as the sugar has dissolved remove the pan from the heat and add the honey and vanilla extract. Mix together and set aside to cool completely.
Beat the eggs and sugar together for a few minutes until thick and pale. Add the olive oil and milk. Beat well to incorporate.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground cloves and salt. Slowly add them to the egg mixture while gently whisking just until incorporated and most of the batter is smooth. Do not over mix! Otherwise your cake will not be light and fluffy.
Add the ground walnuts with the tablespoon of flour to a bowl and whisk together. This will prevent the walnuts from sinking to the bottom of the cake.
Fold the walnuts gently into the batter with a spatula.
Pour the batter in the already prepared baking dish.
Bake it for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
As soon as the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and poke it all over with a toothpick. Pour all of the cooled honey syrup over the cake slowly, allowing it to be absorbed.
Combine the walnuts with the powdered sugar, cinnamon and cloves and sprinkle over the cake to garnish.

Ingredients

200gms maida/मैदा

1/4tsp dry ginger powder/अदरक पाउडर
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder/दालचीनी पाउडर
1/2 bowl condensed milk/गाढ़ा दूध
4 tsp oil/तेल
Berries soaked in rum/जामुन रम में भिगो
1 tsp vanilla essence/वेनिला एसेंस
1/2 katori Orange juice/संतरे का रस
Berries mix/जामुन का मिश्रण
Chopped walnuts/अखरोट
Chopped cashew nuts/काजू
Chopped almonds/बादाम
Rasins
Take a pan and add 2 tsp suagr and caramelized it on low flame. Now add water and mix it well. Now take a bowl add 200 gms maida, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp cocoa powder, 1/4 ddy ginger powder, 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder, and mix it well. Now take a container add 1/2 bowl condensed milk, 4 tsp oil, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1/2 katori orange juice, caramel syrup and mix them well. Now add dry ingredients in it. And mix it well. Now add berries, chopped almonds, chopped walnuts, chopped cashewnuts, rum soaked raisins and mix them too. Now pre heat the microwave for 10 minutes. Then put mixture to the container and add dry fruits on it. Now bake the cake for 30 minutes and our yummy cake is ready
