How To make Brown Sugar Prune Cake
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 1/2 c C and H Golden Brown Sugar
-- firmly packed 2 Eggs
1/2 c Cooked pitted prunes,chopped
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/2 ts Allspice
1/4 ts Cloves
2/3 c Buttermilk
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Stir in prunes. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and spices and add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch square pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool on rack. Cut into 9 squares. Serve with a dollop of sour cream or whipped cream. Top with brown sugar. Ingredients:
2.5 lb (1.15 kg) plums
1/2 cup (100g) white sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons cornstarch
For the crumble:
1 cup (125g) flour
1/3 cup (30g) ground almonds
1/3 cup (67g) brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 tablespoons (90g) cold butter, cut into cubes
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 360F (180C).
2. Slice the plums. Place in a large bowl, add white sugar, cornstarch, lemon zest and mix well, until combined. Transfer to a 9-inch (23cm) baking dish.
3. In a large bowl place the ingredients of the crumble and rub with fingertips until the mixture resembles crumbs.
4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the plum mixture. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden-brown.
5. Cool slightly. Serve with ice cream.

8g Vanilla sugar
8g Orange peel
20ml Milk
3 Eggs
50g Semolina Flour

Second Part:
1kg Prune plum
30g Brown sugar
30g Ground Cinnamon
5g Ground Cinnamon
Flaked Almonds
Dough
50 Minutes in Oven 180°C

1 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
3 EGGS
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
2 CUPS SELF-RISING FLOUR
1 TSP. CINNAMON
1/2 TSP. NUTMEG
1/2 TSP. ALLSPICE
1 TSP. VANILLA EXTRACT
1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
2 CUPS READY-TO-EAT PRUNES (CHOP)
Mix the oil, sugar & eggs in a mixing bowl. Add
cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice & vanilla. Add 1 cup flour,
then buttermilk. Mix well, then add remaining flour
and mix for 2 minutes.
Stir in chopped prunes and nuts. Pour batter into a
greased 13x9x2” cake pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 45
minutes, then let cool. Dust with confectioner’s sugar
or frost with cream cheese icing.
