How To make Cheery Cherry Muffins
2 c flour
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c maraschino cherries
quartered
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt :
optional
3/4 c buttermilk
1/4 c vegetable oil
4 tbsps cherry juice
1 egg beaten
1 tsp almond extract
4 tbsps almonds :
finely chopped
3 tbsps sugar
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin cups.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cherries, baking powder and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, mix milk, oil, cherry juice, egg, and almond extract.
4. Make a well in the dry ingredients and stir in liquid just to moisten.
5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
6. Combine almonds and remaining sugar; sprinkle over batter.
7. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
8. Cool 10 minutes before removing from muffin cups.
9. Makes 12 muffins

INGREDIENTS:
• 2 eggs
• 150 g of sugar
• 270 g of white flour
• 180 ml of milk
• 80 ml of olive oil
• 8 g of baking powder
• Lemon peel
It doesn't take much to make a cherry jam muffin
METHOD:
1. The first thing to do is beat 2 eggs in a large bowl
2. Then add (150g) of sugar
3. And the lemon zest to your liking
4. Also adds (80ml) of olive oil
5. Then add (180ml) of cold milk
6. Finally add (270g) of white flour and (8g) of baking powder
7. Stir until you get a grainy mixture
8. Place the cups in the mold
9. Then pour 2 tablespoons of dough into each mold
10. Place a spoonful of jam in the center and cover with more dough
11. Bake at 350 ° F - 180 ° C for 15/20 minutes
12. Put 1 tablespoon of cherry jam on the surface of the muffin and sprinkle with powdered sugar
