Baking My First Ground Cherry Pie!! | Ground Cherry Recipe | How To Bake A Ground Cherry Pie
In this week's video I share how I baked up a ground cherry pie from scratch! Also known a husk cherries, these sweet little fruits grow in husks that fall to the ground when ripe and are one of the coolest things I've been growing in my garden this year. The recipe was cobbled together from a few different places, and while it's not on the top of my list to bake again, I was still pretty dang proud! The filling was tasty, and just LOOK at that cute little crust! This was probably my first time ever making a pie crust like this and it went about a million times better than I expected!
I've still got an overwhelming amount of ground cherries, so if you've got any great recipes you should share them in the comments!
