Creamy Mushroom Sauce Recipe
Today I'm making my easy creamy garlic mushroom sauce. This cream of mushroom sauce recipe is one of my top mushroom recipes as it's very versatile and pairs beautifully with so many dishes. In this video I made creamy mushroom pasta but you can add it to almost anything you like. This sauce can also be made in a large batch and stored to use in different ways during the week!

*INGREDIENTS*
1/2 lb / 200g mushrooms
6-7 (1 tbsp) garlic
1 medium white/yellow onion (1 small purple onion)
1 tbsp butter
1 cup chicken stock/vegetable
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 tbsp dried oregano
bunch of parsley
salt and pepper
• No stock?
You can use stock cubes dissolved in 1 cup of water. Or use plain water but the flavor will be slightly mellowed
• No oregano/parsley?
You can use Italian herb mix, basil or rosemary also pair well with mushrooms
• No heavy cream?
Substitute with evaporated milk/half and half/fresh cream. The duration of cooking and texture will need to be altered
• No parmesan cheese?
Any cheese that will melt smoothly without causing stringiness can be used. Alter the quantity as needed
Tips:
• Mushrooms need to be cooked until it's browned to release maximum flavor
• Be weary of salt if used store-bought stock. To be safe use low sodium stock or alter the measurements depending on your stock
• In case it ends up too salty, add sugar to balance the saltiness

Creamy Asparagus Casserole in 30 Minutes
Our creamy asparagus casserole is a fantastic side dish for any occasion. I often make it up with proteins such as chicken or beef; although the dish can be served and pairs well with any meat. Made with fresh asparagus, cream of mushroom soup, and a combination of spices, it is a mouthwatering delight for any kind of social gathering.
As always, there are a few changes you can make to the recipe. I use some some very basic spices such such as garlic powder and pepper, but you can add the spices of your choice. For example, some hot pepper flakes or any other spice would not go amiss just to add some heat, etc. Parmesan cheese is placed in the dish as I like the sweetness of the cheese, but any kind of cheese such as mozzarella could be used too.
One pointer is to make sure that your asparagus is fresh and cut off the ends as they can be fairly fibrous. I don't, but you can blanch the asparagus before place it in the dish as well. Panko bread crumbs make a great choice for the topping, but Italian or any type of bread crumbs can be used.

Ingredients:
1 bundle of asparagus, boiled until tender, ends cut off, and cut in half
cooking spray
10 oz of 280 g can of cream of asparagus soup
1 cup of half and half cream
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese, divided
1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs
1 tbsp of melted unsalted butter
Method:
Preheat your oven to 375 F or 190 C
Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray and place asparagus into the center.
Pour the soup into a bow followed by the cream. Add in the pepper, garlic powder, and half the parmesan cheese. Mix until well incorporated.
Spread the soup mixture oven the asparagus, leaving about a one inch gap at each edge.
Lay a bit more asparagus, facing the opposite way, over the asparagus. This is for presentation purposes only.
Place the casserole into the oven for 10 Minutes.
To make the Topping:
Add the parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and butter to a small mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
After 10 minutes, remove the casserole from the oven, sprinkle the topping over it, and place it back in the oven for another 10 minutes or until the bread crumbs have browned.
Remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy your asparagus casserole.

PORK RIBS WITH CHESTNUT EASY RECIPE | CH SECRET RECIPES
This Braised Pork Ribs With Chestnut is a typical Chinese comfort food that's tasty and easy to make. What makes this recipe special? of course the secret ingredients of this is no ordinary. This dish takes a little time to prepare, but the results are worth it.
INGREDIENTS
15 g Ginger
4 Gloves of Garlic
3 Shallots
20 g Spring Onions
7 pcs Dried shiitake Mushroom
20-25 pcs Chestnut
1 kilo Pork Ribs
3 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
3 tsp Brown Sugar
Water
1 tbsp Cooking Wine
PROCEDURE
Chop the ginger into strips, crush the garlic, slice the shallots, and chop the spring onions into small pieces.
Soak the dried shiitake until soft then cut into half. Blanch the chestnut for 1-2 minutes, transfer into a bowl with cold water. Just use your hand to remove the skin or use a clean cloth to rub off the skin.
Heat oil in a pan fry the chestnut for 5 minutes, set aside. Fry the pork ribs for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Add the garlic, ginger, and shallots. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
Season with light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar, mix them together. Add the mushrooms, chestnut and water. Cover over medium heat for 50 -60 minutes.
Add 1 tbsp cooking wine and simmer for 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving. Transfer into a serving dish and serve with rice.
