4 oz Plain or Milk Chocolate
4 oz White Chocolate
4 oz Butter
4 fl Whipping Cream
2 oz Chopped nuts
4 oz Chopped Dates
8 oz Rich Tea Biscuits
Line the base of an 18cm (7in) loose-bottomed deep flan tin or round cake tin with non-stick baking parchment. Break the chocolate into small pieces. Place the plain or milk in one bowl and the white in another. Add 2 ounces of butter to each. Stand bowls over pans of hot water. Leave until chocolate and butter have melted, stirring occasionally. Place bowls on work surface and stir half the cream, nuts, dates and coarsely crushed biscuits into each. Spoon the darker mixture into the tin and spread level with the back of a spoon, pushing the mixture down into the corners. Top wih the white mixture. Cover with foil or cling film and chill until set. Remove from tin and serve cut into slices. Source: Woman's Realm

How to Make Feuilletine Crunch
Don't be scared, sound it out with us foo-yeh-teen (it's French). These bars are very rich and the light crunch on the bottom is a pleasant surprise with each bite. If you have not used feuilletine before, now is a good time to add it to your pantry! Feuilletine is flakes of crushed crêpes Dentelle; very light, delicate brown flakes of what look (and taste!) like sugar cones. We bought ours on Amazon. Makes thirty-two 1 x 2 bars.

The Best UK Dessert You May Not Know Exists - Chocolate Concrete/Crunch
£3.16 For 12 Chocolate Concrete Slices!?!
Learning how to make Chocolate Concrete is a great, unique and tasty dessert. Chocolate Concrete/Crunch is a very popular dessert served in Primary schools in some parts of the UK (We know it is in Birmingham and other regions throughout the UK) but people from other areas have never heard of. I'm sure if you grew up with this it will be something you remember fondly so we decided to showcase a recipe with a few alterations to try to improve an already great snack!
*If using Margarine it is a 1:1 Replacement however do not follow how we browned our butter and instead just melt it normally.*
Ingredients for Chocolate Concrete for £0.26 per slice (Recipe makes 12 Slices).
- Self Raising Flour- 227g - £0.07
- Butter - 170g- £1.05
- Sugar - 170g - £0.11
- Cocoa - 28g - £0.28
- 1 Egg - £0.14
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract - £0.50
*Prices based off of ASDA, total cost divided by our 12 portions =£0.26 per portion*
1) Mix Together Sugar, Flour and Cocoa powder. Then add Brown'd Butter(melted butter/margerine), an Egg and vanilla extract.
2) Mix until wet cement consistency.
3) Place baking paper into a greased cake tin and place the mixture in (We used 2 small tins). Push down until compact and spread across the tin.
4) Bake for 15-20 minuets at 180 degrees Celsius.
5) Sprinkle with sugar immediately after coming out and cut into 12 pieces (We cut each of our two tins into 6). Cutting while still hot as if you allow them to cool they'll break apart when trying to cut them.
6) Cool on a cooling rack completely until hard. Serve on there own or with custard/Ice cream.
