How To make Chocolate Drop Cookies(C&H)
1/2 c Shortening
1 c C&H Brown Sugar
1 Egg
unbeaten
2 oz Unsweetened chocolate
:
melted 1 c Buttermilk or sour milk
1 t Vanilla
1 1/2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 ts Soda
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Chopped walnuts
Combine shortening, sugar and egg in mixing bowl; beat well. Add melted chocolate, buttermilk and vanilla; blend. Sift together flour, soda, and salt and stir in. Add walnuts; chill soft dough. Drop by teaspoonful on greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. Makes 3 to 4 dozen soft, rich cookies. Frost if desired. How To Make Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies (Veganized)
Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies (Veganized)
2 2/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4teaspoon salt
1 cup C&H dark brown(firmly packed)
1/2 White sugar
1 cup cold Earth Balance butter,cut into cubes
1/2 cup Just egg
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 300° F
2. In a medium bowl combine flour,baking soda,and salt. Mix well with a wire whisk.
3.In a large bowl, with an electric mixer,blend the sugar at medium speed.
4. Add the cold butter,and mix to form a grainy paste,scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla extract,and mix at low to medium speed just until blended. Do not overmix.
5.Add the flour mix and chocolate chips ,and blend at a low speed just until mixed. Do not overmix.
6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an increased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart
7. Bake 20-22 minutes until golden. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool surface with a spatula. you can line sheets with parchment and transfer to a cold surface to do it faster.

Ingredients:
* 3/4 cup butter, softened
* 1/2 cup Domino® or C&H® Granulated Pure Cane Sugar
* 1/2 cup Domino® or C&H® Pure Cane Dark Brown Sugar
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 20 squares)
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
* 24 to 28 large marshmallows
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Place four cookies bottom side up on a microwave-safe plate; top each with a marshmallow. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 10-15 seconds or until marshmallows begin to puff (do not overcook). Top each with another cookie. Repeat. Yield: about 2 dozen.

These are my family's favorite cookies and they are plain and simple. I do have 4 secret ingredients that aren't normally in an oatmeal cookie recipe. Here are the ingredients:

Butter - Costco butter
Sugar - C & H Sugar
Brown Sugar - C & H
Vanilla - Costco
Organic Maple Syrup - Costco Kirkland
Eggs - Kirkland Organic Eggs
Baking Soda - Arm & Hammer
Salt - Costco Kirkland Sea Salt
Baking Powder - Clabber Girl
Flour - Ardent Mills - Harvest
Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oats
???? ???? Sparkly One's Family Favorite Chewy Oatmeal Cookies????????
(My secret recipe)
3/4 cup butter
1 1/3 cups dark brown sugar (secret ingredient)
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/4 cup heavy cream (secret ingredient)
2 tablespoons of real maple syrup (secret ingredient)
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 1/8 teaspoons baking powder (secret ingredient)
3 3/4 cups of oats
Mix butter on medium for 45 seconds to blended
Add sugars and mix until not grainy (about 2 minutes)
Add eggs, and vanilla and mix for 2 more minutes
Add heavy cream, maple syrup and mix on high speed for 1 minute
Blend all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix with spoon
Add oats and mix well
Pour by large spoonfuls into the batter and blend in 3 or 4 increments
Spoon or use a scooper and make rounded balls of batter on a baking sheet (lining is optional)
Bake at 325 degrees for 15-18 minutes until desired doneness. Enjoy!!
