How To make Coconut Crescents
-Nancy Speicher DPXX20A 2 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb -water
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 c Confectioners' sugar; sifted
1/2 c Instant nonfat dry milk
2 Cans(3 1/2 oz size) flaked
-coconut (2 2/3 cups) 4 Squares semisweet chocolate
1 tb Shortening
1. Melt butter in saucepan. Add water and vanilla.
2. Combine confectioners' sugar and dry milk. Stir into butter
mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in coconut. 3. For each candy, shape about 1 tbsp mixture into a roll 2" long;
curve to make a crescent. Refrigerate until firm - 15 minutes. 4. Melt chocolate and shortening over hot, not boiling, water.
Remove from hot water; let stand to cool slightly. 5. Dip half of each piece of candy into chocolate. Place on waxed
paper to dry. Refrigerate until firm.

The easiest way to make croissant! Why I didn't know this method before!

Ingredients:
1/3 cup of warm water (80-90 ml).
1 tbsp sugar (10g).
1 tbsp dry yeast or instant yeast (8g).
1/5 cup of warm milk (50 ml).
2/3 tsp salt (4g).
2 cups flour (250g).
Butter: 5 tbsp soft butter (50g) for dough and 15 tbsp soft butter for grease (150g).
Bake at 190° (375°F) for 20-25 minutes.
The result is light, airy, golden, flaky and buttery croissants! Bon appetit!

Let's make almond croissants but jazz them up to be festive! Halloween time always makes me crave candy, so I thought it would be fun to make a Almond Joy inspired croissant flavor.
This recipe makes enough almond cream for half a dozen croissants and you'll have left over coconut filling. I like putting this coconut filling in the middle of my macarons with a chocolate ganache dam to make Almond Joy inspired macarons!! Or sprinkle it on top of yogurt, granola, oatmeal....the possibilities are endless.

3/4 CUP WARM MILK

MIX WELL
COVER THE BOWL & KEEP FOR 15 MIN.
2.5 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/4 CUP OIL
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
MAKE THE DOUGH
PUT SOME OIL OVER THE DOUGH
COVER THE DOUGH WITH A CLOTH
KEEP THE DOUGH IN WARM PLACE FOR 1 HOUR
AFTER 1 HOUR
ROLL THE DOUGH & CUT IT EQUAL PORTION
MAKE DOUGH BALL
FLATTEN THE DOUGH WITH ROLLER
REPEAT THE PROCESS
BRUSH SOME MELTED BUTTER ON EACH
PLACE ANOTHER ONE OVER IT
AGAIN FLATTEN WITH THE ROLLER
CUT IT IN TRIANGLE SHAPE
PLACE A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE
ROLL IT
REPEAT THE PROCESS
PLACE THE CROISSANT ON A TRAY
KEEP IT FOR 10-15 MIN.
BRUSH SOME MILK OVER IT
COOK IT FOR 20-25 MIN. IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT
CROISSANT ARE READY COOL COMPLETELY
