Apple Spice Cake -- Fast and Easy Recipe
Apple Cake Fast and Easy
INGREDIENTS:
1 box Spice Cake Mix
20 oz Apple Pie Filling
4 Eggs
1 cup softened Butter
3 cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven 350.
Grease 9×13″ cake pan.
Beat together cake mix, pie filling and eggs until well blended (there will still be chunks of apple).
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely.
Frosting:
Whip butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla until fluffy.
Gradually add powdered sugar.
Add milk until you reach desired consistency.
Spread frosting over cake.
Serve and Enjoy

Ingredients:
1 package Eckert’s Apple & Spice Cake Mix
2 Eckert’s apples
1/4 cup Eckert’s Apple Cider
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 eggs
Peel and slice 2 large Eckert’s apples. Combine 2 eggs, 1/2 cup apple sauce, and 1/4 cup Eckert’s apple cider. Add Eckert’s Apple & Spice Cake mix and 2 Eckert’s apples. Pour mixture into lightly grease 9” x 13” baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy!

Eckert’s Orchards took root in 1837 after Johann Peter Eckert immigrated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from Dietzenbach, Hesse Darmstadt, Germany, and began farming. Johann’s son Michael followed his father’s instinctive love for the land and settled on a farm that we call Drum Hill, near Fayetteville, Illinois, which is 35 miles southeast of St. Louis. Fruit trees were planted on Michael’s farm in 1862, and then Michael’s son Henry followed suit and in 1890 planted fruit trees on his Turkey Hill Farm in Belleville, Illinois. Henry’s farm is now the hub of the Eckert’s family business, where the family’s largest orchard produces apples, peaches, strawberries,blackberries and other fresh fruit and vegetables and where its Country Restaurant and Country Store operate year-round.
Eckert’s retail operations started as a humble roadside farmstand, opened by Alvin O. Eckert in 1910 on the Turkey Hill Farm in Belleville, and have transformed into state-of-the-art facilities, including the Country Restaurant—a dining destination for down-home cooking in the St. Louis metropolitan area—and the Country Store and Garden Center, which carry seasonally fresh produce and plants, home-baked bakery treats, fresh meats and deli creations, gourmet cheeses, specialty foods and unique gift items.
‘The Eckert family also operates orchards and general stores in Millstadt and Grafton, Illinois, as well as an orchard in Versailles, Kentucky. The quaint, rustic Grafton farm sits atop a Mississippi River bluff outside of Alton, Illinois, and the Millstadt Fun Farm is perfect for families seeking a day or evening of outdoor country entertainment as well as apple or pumpkin picking during the fall.
Today the sixth and seventh generations of the Eckert family oversee the daily business operations. Jim Eckert, son of Juanita and Vernon, is President of Eckert Orchards and is the company’s chief horticulturist. Lary Eckert, son of Curt and Ruth, recently resigned as President of Eckert’s, Inc., after presiding over the company for 30 years. Succeeding Lary Eckert as president is Lary’s son, Chris Eckert. Chris oversees retail operations, as well as the growing and wholesaling of home-grown produce. Lary’s daughter Jill Eckert-Tantillo is Vice-President of Marketing and Food Services. Angie Eckert, Chris’s wife, is Vice-President of Retail Operations for both the Country Store and the Garden Center.

Prep time 45 minutes
Bake time: 45 minutes
Total time 1 hr 30 minutes
Yield one round 9 Inch cake
8 to 12 serving servings
INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
1 ½ cups of lightly measureed all purpose flour
(6.2 ounces)
½ tsp fine salt
1 Teaspoons baking powder
2 Tsp ground cinnamon
1 Teaspoons freshly grated nutmeg
1 ½ Tsp ground cloves
Wet Ingredients
4 Large eggs
¾ cup oil
1 Tsp Vanilla
½ cup warm cooking cream
1 ¼ cup gradulated sugar
Method:
Measuring and prepare allthe ingredients first toe organized
Heat the oven at 300 degrees ten minutes before baking
Grease and line a 9 x4 inch round cake pan, set aside
In a large bowl
Measure and sift the flour
Add the spices , salt and baking powder mix well to combine (set aside)
In a separate mixing bowl whisk the eggs
and sugar together
Until the sugar has dissolved and It reach a light fluffy consistency
Add the dry ingredients into 4 additions In the wet ingredients
alternating with the oil and the cream Into 2 additions adding the vanilla lastly
Mix lightly until all the ingredients are well incorporated
It should have a smooth consistency
Don't over mix the cake batter
Pour it in the prepared cake pan tap it lightly
Place it on the middle rack of the oven , let it bake for 45 minutes or when insert a toothpick, it comes out clean
Leave the cake in the oven for 5 minutes
Then take it out then allow it to cool in the pan for 15 minutes
Let it cool completely on a wire rack
Serve warm or cold with some whipped cream
Or some cream sauce and enjoy!
Keep it in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days .Taste best the next day
This spiced cake has a appetizing aroma and the taste is palate pleasing
One slice is all you need with a cup of tea .
Tips:
Dont open the oven until the cake has almost finish
Sift the flour to prevent lumps from forming
Mix the dry Ingredients until the spices are well disrbuted evenly
Don't over bake the cake
Make sure the spices are fresh for a more rich flavor
Measure the flour loosely by placing the four In the measuring cup lightly and level It off
With the back of a dinner knife

Keto/Low Carb Apple Spice Cake
The perfect addition to a holiday table or even for breakfast. Even for those who have apple harvest, adding actual apples to this cake recipe is still a better option than a cake full of flour and white and brown sugar.
