Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
This is an easy recipe that can be served as an appetizer or as as mini meal if you add a salad. Use real crab meat for the best flavor.

INGREDIENTS - Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
18 large white mushroom, stems removed and wiped clean
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon yellow onion, finely chopped
1 cup fresh crabmeat
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon Italian parsley, minced
1 teaspoon tarragon, minced
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 egg lightly beaten
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS - STUFFED MUSHROOMS TWO WAYs
Besides my cheesy stuffed mushrooms (check link at end for those, they rival Longhorn Restaurant's), Here are crab stuffed mushrooms that are rich, creamy and baked golden brown, and heart earthy filling stuffed mushrooms that are deeply satisfying. These are great Lenten recipes, and you can tailor the filling stuffed ones any way you like/ These are always crowd pleasers, great for parties and big gatherings, so make a bunch!

PAPA TEXAS

CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS
1 lb bay portobello mushrooms
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon Parsley Flakes
1 teaspoon OLD BAY® Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg beaten
1 8oz package Philadelphia cream cheese
1 1/2 C of panko bread crumbs or for low carb/ keto, crushed pork rinds
1 pound good quality/fresh crabmeat
2 tbs olive oil
Coat mushrooms with stems removed with oil.
Place on foil lined tray.
Mix crab and other ingredients.
Stuff mushrooms with crab mixture.
Bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
FILLING STUFFED MUSHROOMS
1/2 loaf cubed bread cubes
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb baby portobello mushrooms, save stems and mince for filling
1-2 cups beef or vegetable broth
1-2 tbs olive oil
You can add bacon or other goodies as desired.
Mix all together, stuff oil coated mushrooms on a foil lined tray and bake at 375F 20 minutes.

This is a great tasting low carb appetizer or eat it as a meal all on its own. Each serving of four mushrooms is only 3.77g net carbs. Enjoy!

Stuffed mushrooms:
Mushroom plates
24 baby bella/cremini mushrooms, about 16 ounces
8 ounces crab meat
2 ounces – cream cheese, softened
3 Tbs – sour cream
1/4 cup – grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp – minced garlic
1 Tbs – fresh chives, chopped
1/2 tsp – salt
1/2 tsp – ground black pepper
1/4 tsp – Old Bay seasoning
1/8 tsp – cayenne pepper
Toppinig:
1/2 cup – ground pork rinds
Sauce:
8 Tbs – unsalted butter (1 stick)
1 Tbs – fresh chives, chopped
1/2 Tbs – minced garlic
Juice of one lemon (about a 1/4 cup)
Serving size = 4 mushrooms (recipe divided by 6)

Crab Stuffed Mushrooms Easy Recipe
Ingredients
12 Baby Portabella Mushrooms
1 small diced onion
1/2 cup chopped parsley
3/4 cup grated swiss cheese
1/2 cup panko breading (Italian Style)
Salt and pepper to taste
A pinch of old bay seasoning or to taste
8 oz minced crab meat
Directions
Remove the stems from the mushrooms
Saute onion, diced mushroom stems, and parsley and cool.
To the cooked vegetables add crab, cheese, and panko
Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning to taste
Top with freshly grated swiss cheese
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Remove from oven and serve while hot. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
