How To make Crab and Three Cheese Strata
1 Loaf sourdough bread -- cubed
1 c Ricotta cheese
1/4 lb Monterey Jack cheese
-shredded 1/4 lb Sharp cheddar cheese
-shredded 1/2 lb Dungeness crab meat
2 T Green chiles
chopped
12 Eggs :
slightly beaten
6 c Milk
5 T Butter -- melted
1/4 ts Dry mustard
Butter a 9" x 14" baking dish. Layer the bread with ricotta, crab, Jack and cheddar cheese and chiles. Blend eggs, milk, butter and mustard in a large pouring bowl. Pour over bread mixture, covering all of it. Cover the Strata with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until eggs are set. Quick, Delicious Breakfast. Meet the strata - wait, a what? What is a strata you ask? It's a cross between a quiche, a bread pudding and a baked french toast. Usually flavored with savory fillings but they can be filled with anything your heart desires. The great thing about a strata is that they can be made a day ahead - what's not to love about that? Just assemble, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator. Enjoy this stress-free breakfast.
INGREDIENTS
6 ounces fresh spinach
5 eggs
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper
1/2 16 ounce sourdough boule, cubed 1″ pieces
1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
0:28 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high, add spinach and cook until wilted (about 2 minutes).
1:09 2. In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. In a 1 quart greased baking dish, add half of the bread cubes. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese, half of the spinach and pour half of the egg mixture over the top. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
3:42 3. Place dish on a baking sheet and bake until tops are golden and the center springs back when lightly pressed, about 45 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil halfway through if top becomes too dark.

My real crab egg bites recipe is always the hit of the party as an easy crab appetizer. I serve the mini crab egg bites with my spicy aioli sauce.
These real crab egg bites only take a minute to whip up and 15-20 minutes to cook. Learn how to make egg bites in a mini muffin tin.
Real Crab Egg Bites Recipe
Ingredients:
150 grams freshly cooked crab or real lump crab meat
150 grams grated zucchini
2 eggs beaten
2 Tbsp. chopped onion or green onion
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 cup grated cheese
A fresh grind of salt and pepper
Directions:
Grease a mini or regular size muffin tin with butter.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a medium size mixing bowl add and mix all ingredients except for the crab.
Fold real lump crab into egg mixture.
Spoon into mini muffin tin (top with a little more cheese and jalapeno slivers if you like).
Bake crab egg bites at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cooked (It depends on the size of muffin tin used).
Serve Aioli Sauce with the real crab egg bites
Aioli Sauce:
Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic, smashed into a paste.
1/2 cup keto friendly mayonnaise.
A wedge of fresh squeezed lemon juice.
A pinch of cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
Directions:
Mix the aioli ingredients in a bowl and rest in the fridge for 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
Stir before serving.

This breakfast casserole will wow your crowd.
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dijon, thyme, and garlic powder and season generously with salt and pepper.
2. Butter a large baking dish. Add bread and top with ham and cheddar. Pour over egg mixture.
3. Bake until eggs are cooked through and ham golden, 45 to 55 minutes. (To make ahead, cover baking dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate at least 4 hours and up to overnight, then bake as directed.)
4. Garnish with more thyme and serve.
