How To make Crockpot Black Beans & Rice

beef boullion cubes

vinegar (add last)

pound
lean bulk pork sausage
1
pound
pork, boneless, cubed

pound
stew beef chunks
1/2
pound
ham, smoked, 1/2 inch cubes
1 1/2
pound
smoked link sausage, cut into 1 inch lengths
1
salt, to taste
1
pepper, to taste
Directions:
Beans: Wash and look for gravel then soak overnight in a bowl being sure beans are well covered with water. For cooking use a large crock pot.
Meats: First, brown bulk sausage in a skillet and pour off excess grease. Add other meats and stir to brown. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, celery, and spices. salt and pepper moderately, taste after cooking several hours and add more if needed.
Add beans and soak water. If necessary add more water to cover entire ingredients by at least two inches. Stir in four bouillon cubes. Cover and cook in crockpot high for three hours then turn to low for at least six hours.
Can cook on low overnight. Stir it twice and sometimes you may find it necessary to add water. If it gets too thin, take about 1/2 cup of beans and mash with a fork until pasty to add back as a thickener.
About an hour before serving stir in vinegar. If you enjoy hot and spicy foods add the hot peppers (jalapeno, habanero or whatever you like) and Tabasco. If you don't like it hot, then leave them out or serve the Tabasco at the table.
Serve beans and meat over rice. Brown rice is quite tasty but white rice is fine too. Serve in a soup bowl and top with fresh chopped onion.

SLOW COOKER RED BEANS AND RICE
This is the BEST red beans and rice recipe you will ever try! It's been tested many times and has SO much flavor. The flavors only get better in the slow cooker.

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb dried small red beans (not kidney beans)
1 yellow onion diced
1 green bell pepper diced
1 celery rib diced
24 oz. polska kiełbasa sausage sliced
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. creole seasoning (I use Tony Chachere's creole seasoning)
2 bay leaves
INSTRUCTIONS:
Chop and prepare all ingredients and add to a 6 quart (or bigger) slow cooker.
Give a stir, then cover and cook on high for 6-7 Hours.
In the last 2 hours of cooking, stir the beans intermittently, it will help them to cream up.
Serve over white rice.

This is my delicious recipe of crockpot black beans and rice. It's super simple and really easy to whip up with some leftovers. My family loved it and it's full of fibre and nutrients. Also this is vegan/vegetarian.
My Ideology:
We need to learn how to create delicious wholesome meals with the ingredients on hands. Most people do not like to cook because it involves going for grocery and then getting many pots dirty. But the recipes I plan on sharing on my channel are going to be really simple. You will need some basic ingredients and you can definitely be creative with everything. Have fun cooking!
Ingredients:
2 small onions
5 coves of garlic
1/2 red bell pepper
1 green chilli
1/4 tsp of cumin seeds
1/2 tsp of coriander powder
1/2 tsp of crushed red chillies
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups of cooked brown rice
1 can of black beans
1/2 tsp of turmeric
2 tbsp Frank's red hot sauce
1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 vegetable stock cube
1 tsp BBQ sauce
Tips:
1. To speed up the cooking process I added boiling water to the crockpot.
2. I love to share simple and quick recipes so try to get creative with your beans and rice. Add things and spices that are available to you. This is just to inspire you.
