RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
3 lbs. chuck roast (can use 3-4 lbs)
1 lb. baby carrots
1 lbs. red potatoes quartered, or halved baby red potatoes
1 white onion diced large
1 oz. lipton onion soup mix
10.5 oz. cream of mushroom soup
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
12 oz. can coca cola
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the chuck roast to the slow cooker. Add the carrots, potatoes, and onion.
Sprinkle over the onion soup mix. Add the cream of mushroom soup, you can smear it over the top of the roast and vegetables. Don't worry about it being perfect, it will all cook down together.
Pour over the Worcestershire sauce and cola.
Cook on LOW for 9 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
You can remove the beef onto a plate. Shred with two forks and discard any fat.
Degrease the gravy with paper towels. Add the roast back to the slow cooker.
Serve and enjoy!

Crock Pot Cola Pot Roast:
Ingredients
*4 lb or larger roast (of your choice)
*1 packet of dry brown gravy mix
*2 Tablespoons of water
*1 packet of dry onion soup mix
*1 can of cream of mushroom soup
*8 ounces of Coke or any carbonated beverage
*garlic powder
Place your roast in your crock pot. Put 2 TB of water in a mixing bowl. Add the dry brown gravy packet, onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom and mix well (it will be thick). Then, add your 8 ounces of carbonated beverage and mix, but don't over mix. Pour the mixture over your roast, put the lid on and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 6 hours.
Shred the roast if making po boys. So stinking easy! Hope you enjoy and let me know how you like it!

Coke Pot Roast (Crockin Girls)
Coke Roast
3-4 lb. rump roast
1 garlic clove, minced
1 onion diced
Olive oil, for browning roast
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 onion soup mix
1 coke, any dark soda will work
16 oz. sour cream
Directions: Cut slits into your roast and stuff with onion and garlic. Brown roast in skillet and place in your slow cooker. Mix golden mushroom soup and onion soup mix. Pour over the roast. Next add your coke, cover, and cook on high for 4 hours. Remove roast and slice. Add sour cream to liquid and whisk until mixed. Return the roast to the slow cooker and cook another 2 hours on high.
Serving suggestions: 4-6 servings, We cooked in a 5 qt.

This pork roast is a Costa Rican holiday classic. Typically you could use ham, but if you're cooking for a smaller audience this year, I'll show you how to cook an equally delicious pork shoulder instead.
