Traditional Lincoln Family Christmas Cherry Bread
1 Box Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix
2 Small Cans Cherry Pie Filling with extra fruit
Prepare hot roll mix following the cinnamon roll recipe. Let raise 20 minutes. Divide into 2 balls and roll out into 2 rectangles. Use 1 can of pie filling for each bread.
Place each on a cookie sheet or both on a large one. I place parchment paper on the cookie sheet. Roll each on a large board and then transfer rectangle onto the cookie sheet and spread out more. Place filling down the middle and then cut slits on each side and braid into a long loaf. Bake in 350 oven for 15 minutes.
Prepare powdered sugar icing using egg nog in place of the milk or cream.

Cherry Chocolate Loaf - Food Wishes
Since our banana bread gets such gets reviews, I decided to use it as the base recipe for this gorgeous cherry chocolate loaf, and while bananas and cherries are not very similar, it all worked out wonderfully, and I was beyond thrilled with the results. If you can’t find fresh cherries, this will work with frozen cherries, or even dried cherries if you soak them first. Enjoy!
