Use Leftover Egg Yolks to Make a Simple 4 Yolk Challah
Rich, soft bread with a glossy shine and a touch of sweetness is one of my weaknesses. Toast up a slice, slather it in butter, and drizzle with golden honey and you’ve got yourself one heck of a snack. Today we’re making a simple braided 4 yolk challah!
A lot of my macaron recipes use about 4 egg whites, and I just hate to waste all of those egg yolks. My favorite way to use them is with this challah recipe. It's super easy and tastes delish!
Check out the blog post (below) for deets on how to freeze the dough before baking.

First egg yolk baby recipe - pastina with zucchini +6M
Recent pediatric studies suggest that the whole egg can be introduced in a baby's diet starting from 6 months of age (the previous recommendation was 9 months for the yolk and 12 months for the white!!) Considering the ingredients, this recipe is suitable for babies starting from 6M of age, you will just need to puree everything to obtain a smooth puree consistency. This is the recipe that I prepared for my little Alex when I gave him his first egg yolk. He really liked it and I hope your little one will do the same :-)
A baby size pasta with a zucchini and egg yolk sauce. Creamy and tasty.
I also use this recipe when someone in the family is sick (maybe a bad cold) as it is very comforting.
Enjoy!
