How To make Grilled Shrimp Wrapped In Bacon
20 Med shrimp; cleaned deveined
10 Strips bacon; raw, cut in ha
3 Red or yellow sweet peppers;
4 tb Extra-virgin olive oil
2 tb Balsamic vinegar
1 tb Pommery mustard
Sprig fresh thyme 1 Head radicchio
1 Head endive
1 Head Bibb lettuce
Wash and dry the radicchio, endive and lettuce. Tear into bite-size pieces and set aside. Wrap each shrimp tightly in 1/2 strip of bacon. Grill in skillet or over charcoal grill until crisp, 3-5 minutes, turning once. Cover to keep warm. Seed peppers and cut into thin julienne strips. Set aside. Combine oil, vinegar, mustard and thyme in a jar. Cover and shake well. Place greens and peppers in a bowl. Add shrimp. Toss gently with the vinaigrette. Serve in shallow bowls, arranging greens first, and 5 shrimp on top of the greens.

Bourbon Glazed Bacon Wrapped Smoked Shrimp - The Perfect Appetizer!
Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp taken to a new level by giving them a baste of Garlic butter and a Bourbon Glaze. These Bourbon Glazed Bacon Wrapped Smoked Shrimp are the perfect appetizer for any bbq meal!
10 10-15 Shrimp uncooked with shell
5 Strips uncooked Bacon
Remove Shell leaving the tail on then wrap in a half a strip of bacon, Then coat with the rub and place in foil pan. (Note: To purchase GQue's The Rub please visit:
Smoke with Hickory for 15 minutes in 350 pit - bacon should be about 75% cooked and rub should be set on the bacon. Baste with Garlic Butter (melt 1 Stick salted butter and 3 cloves of garlic) Return to Smoker until bacon is cooked through about 8 minutes.
Remove and dunk each shrimp in Bourbon Glaze (.5 part Bourbon, 1 part Horseradish Cocktail Sauce, 4 parts topper BBQ sauce) and return to the new pan cook for 5 minutes until glaze sets up remove from smoker and baste with Garlic Butter one more time. Garnish with Curly parsley and spritz with Lemon. (optional)

How to BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Bacon is amazing! There are many things bacon can do. Today I used bacon to wrap shrimp... enough said. This was a great tasting treat that I highly recommend everyone to try. The important technique to consider is not get your BBQ too hot. This is why I spread out the charcoal, you do not want the high heat to overcook your shrimp while you are cooking the bacon.

My buddy Dave Jimenez used to make tons of these bacon wrapped gems. There was a lot of labor involved in making tons of these for a huge Super Bowl party but I have found that the reward is worth it!
