♥️ Ingredients
1) 1/4 cup of sugar
2) zest of one orange
3) 2 cups of flour
4) 1 tsp of baking powder
5) 1/4tsp of baking soda
6) 1/4tsp of salt
7) 1/2 cup of cold butter
8) 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
9) 2/3 cup of buttermilk
10) 1tsp of vanilla extract
11) heavy cream (to brush scones before baking)
12) sliced almonds (for topping)

Blueberry Scones, Avocado Oil Butter and Honey
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup butter (cold)
6 oz. blueberries
1/4 cup almond milk
3 tablespoon honey
Vanilla
Directions:
In a mixing bowl add the sugar, pinch of salt, flour then baking powder and mix.
Add almond milk and mix.
Add honey and butter and mix.
While mixing add blueberries.
Add parchment paper to a baking sheet.
In any shape you'd like, place your scones on the sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes (keep eye on it)
* you can make banana scones by doing the same process just substitute blueberries with bananas

This English Scones topped with Almond Crumble Recipe is very easy to make and perfect for entertaining guests at a teatime treat. These crumbly and rustic English Style Scones bake up light and fluffy. This comes with a Christmassy touch: an almond crumb dough or a craquelin made with brown sugar! Spread them with jam, butter or simply eat them plain. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
● Almond Scones
1 ¼ cup (150g) all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cup (150g) cake flour
1 ¼ tbsp (15g) baking powder
⅓ cup (70g) granulated sugar
5 tbsp (70g) butter
4 tsp (15g) honey
⅔ cup (160g) milk
¼ cup (30g) almond flakes
● Craquelin
⅓ cup (75g) butter
½ cup (95g) brown sugar
¾ cup (95g) cake flour
food coloring
● Almond Crumb Dough
¾ cup (110g) cake flour
1 ¼ cup (100g) sliced almonds
½ cup (1 stick/110g) butter
⅓ cup (75g) granulated sugar
● Assembly
1 large egg yolk (20g)
Steps:
1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (338°F).
2. Sift flours and baking powder. Add the sugar, butter and honey and mix using the flat beater (or with a fork till the butter is well incorporated, if done by hand).
3. Add the milk gradually and then the almond flakes.
4. Roll the dough to 0.5 inch (10mm) thickness and freeze for 15 minutes.
5. For the craquelin use the flat beater and mix butter, flour, sugar and food coloring. Roll the dough to 0.1 inch (3mm) thickness and freeze for 15 minutes.
6. For the Almond Crumb Dough sift flour and mix with sugar, butter and almonds. Keep it in the fridge.
7. Grease and line the molds with parchment paper. Cut circles using a cookie cutter and refrigerate. Repeat the process for the craquelin and freeze.
8. Brush the scones with egg yolk and sprinkle almond crumbs on each scone or place a craquelin circle on top.
9. Bake for 15 minutes.
Tips:
1. If you don’t have ring mold, leave the scones just the way they are. They just help the scones have an even shape when they rise in the oven.
2. For the assembly, you can also use water or a whole egg to stick the almond crumbs or the craquelin.

Ingredients
* 1 1/3 cup (120g) almond flour (‼️NOT PACKED‼️)
* 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
* 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coconut oil, melted
* Pinch of salt
NOTE:
1. Please, use the Digital kitchen scale fo the best results!
2. Instead of maple syrup take 2 tbsp sugar/low-carb sugar and 1 tbsp water.
3. Instead of coconut oil take Ghee or yellow part of melted butter. Vegetable oil don't work in this recipe.
4. Don't let the dough chill too long. Coconut oil will solid at room temperature and the dough will be crumbly and will not come together.
5. Don't pack down almond flour!
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients, stirring to combine (be sure to break up any lumps in the flour and/or sugar).
3. Shape dough into about 16 balls. Space balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet. Flatten halfway (e.g., with a fork, cookie stamp, the flat bottom of a measuring cup, or fingertips)
4. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the centers no longer look wet. The cookies will still seem somewhat soft, but that is due to the high amount of fat (almond flour + coconut oil). They will become firm once completely cooled.
5. Remove from oven and cool on sheet for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire cooling rack and cool completely.
Storage: The cookies are best stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for up to 2 weeks (or the freezer for up to 6 months).
