TODAY'S RECIPE IS Super Spongy Chocolate Hot Milk Cake Recipe | Easy Chocolate Hot Milk Cake | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
Beat for 1 mins
Sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla 1/2 tsp
Beat until foamy consistency
Oil 1/4 cup
All purpose flour 3/4 cup
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 cup
Add gradually
Keep aside
Milk 1/2 cup
Butter 1 tbsp
Bring it to a boil
Turn off the flame
Cool for 1 min
Add hot milk into cake batter
Mix slowly
7 inch greased pan
Bake in preheated oven at 180c for 30-40 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

How to Make Hot Milk Cake
An old-fashioned recipe for Hot Milk Cake! This dense yellow cake is covered with a thick layer of chocolate fudge frosting! Can be made in either a bundt pan or a 13x9 pan!

Ingredients
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk 236ml
½ cup butter 1 stick, cut into pieces
2 cups granulated sugar 400g
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups all-purpose flour 250g
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
FUDGE ICING
3 oz unsweetened chocolate chopped
4 Tablespoons unsalted butter cut into 4 pieces
⅓ cup whole milk 80ml
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar 250g
Instructions

00:26 Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and grease and flour a tube pan (you may instead make this recipe in a 13x9” sheet pan). Set aside.
00:31 In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a large bowl using an electric mixer, beat eggs until well-beaten and pale yellow (about 30 seconds on medium speed).
00:53 Add sugar and vanilla extract and stir until well-combined.
01:09 In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
01:30 Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture, stirring until combined.
01:49 Combine milk and butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium/high heat. Set aside.
02:15 Add melted milk/butter mixture and stir until combined. Batter will be thin.
02:35 Pour into prepared pan and bake 350F (175C) for 40 minutes (if using a 13x9” pan, cake will need to bake 25-30 minutes).
03:15 Allow cake to cool for 15 minutes and then invert onto cooling rack. Allow cake to cool completely before covering with Fudge Icing.
FUDGE ICING
03:27 Combine chopped chocolate, butter, and milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir frequently until chocolate and butter are completely melted and mixture is smooth.
04:04 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. Whisk in powdered sugar until fudge icing is smooth and glossy. Allow to cool, whisking frequently, until icing is cool and no longer runny, then pour over cake.

Measure out the ingredients correctly. This is the key to a soft and fluffy bake. Make a point of properly measuring out your ingredients before you start baking This will ensure the perfect textured cake.
Eggs aerate better when they are at room temperature and not ice-cold. beat the egg mixture until it turns light in colour and fluffy
While mixing make sure that you don’t over mix the batter. Overmixing results in a rubbery textured cake.
Grease the pans before mixing so that you can pour in the batter immediately after mixing. That would help get the cake mix into the oven quickly. After mixing you shouldn’t let the batter sit for more time than necessary. The more the mixture sits, the denser the cake would be.
