How To make Jalapeno Pizza Crust For The Breadmachine
1/2 c Lukewarm water
1 T Just Shortening or
Prune puree 3 T Chopped jalapenos w/ juice
1/4 t Salt
2 c Bread flour
1 t Active dry yeast
Place ingredients in your bread machine in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Set to dough cycle. NOTE: Watch to dough and add more water slowly (up to 1/4 cup more) until the dough obtains the proper consistency. Check the dough again during the 2nd kneading -- mine got a bit thin and I added some organic blue corn meal until the consistency was right. NOTE: Just Shortening can be purchased at your local health food store and consists of a combination of plum puree and prune puree and is a very thick consistency.

Yes, yes!! Today I'm back with another big batch freezer cooking time of making TONS of homemade pizza dough in the bread machines. This bread machine pizza dough is also freezer friendly! That's right, I cooking up well over 20 pizza dough balls and put many in the freezer for upcoming easy freezer meals!
In this big batch freezer cooking video, I also show how I make low carb Lavish Bread pizzas in the oven PLUS I also show you how to cook a sheet pan pizzas, too. Just how many bread machine pizzas do I make in total? The math gets a little wonky because as I'm making them over several days, some days I also feed my family pizza for dinner, haha! We count down the bread machine pizza dough totals though.

Noreen's Kitchen: Making Jalapeno Cheese Bread and Pizza Crust with Beer Starter
Greetings! Today we have been so busy playing with sourdough! Now I want to use the sourdough we made using the beer. This is how I made the dough:
2 Cups Sourdough Starter
1 Cup White Wheat Flour
3 Cups Bread Flour
1 Cup Warm Water
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Demarrara Sugar
2 Tablespoons Buttermilk Powder
1 Tablespoon Vital Wheat Gluten
I mixed in my KitchenAid and allowed it to knead for 7 minutes. I placed it in an oiled bowl and covered it with some plastic wrap. Put it in my oven that I had previously preheated to 200 degrees and shut off prior to kneading the dough. Left the oven light on for additional supplementary warmth and let it rise until it was doubled, which took about 2 hours.
I took a portion of the dough so that I could make a 16 inch pizza for lunch. I made the remaining dough into a loaf of jalapeno and cheese bread. I added 1/2 cup of finely diced cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of finely diced Monterey Jack cheese along with 1/2 cup of pickled jalapenos that were drained, squeezed dry and chopped. I kneaded those into the dough and formed a loaf. I placed the shaped loaf on a pizza pan covered in parchment paper and then covered it with plastic wrap and allowed it to rest in the warmed oven until doubled. Again about 2 hours. I removed the risen bread from the oven and preheated it to 400 degrees.
Prior to placing the bread back into the hot oven, I threw a cup of ice cubes into the bottom of the oven to create a steam oven environment. The bread baked for 25 minutes.
I hope that this series inspires you to try to make your own sourdough and create your own bread with wild caught yeast. It is really satisfying knowing that even if you don't have yeast, you can create it yourself with a little time and effort.
