Bake for 15-18 minutes, until browned around the edges. Cool the cookies on the baking tray. Preheat oven to 375
1 cup self rising flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup softened butter(unsalted)
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar ( I used light)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups oats (old fashion or quick)
In large bowl, combine sugars, butter and vanilla. Cream mixture.
Combine cinnamon with flour
Gradually add in flour mixture and mix. Add oats and morsels. Beat together.
Drop by TBS onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 mins. Depending on how crispy you want them. For a chewier texture, I bake for 8 mins. Let cool in pan about 5 mins then transfer to cooling racks.
